A permanent magnetic motor allows the pump to save energy, while promoting reliable performance and durability. With a GPH of 5300, you can keep water circulating in your outdoor fountains, waterfalls, and pond skimmers at a fraction of the price. It reduces power consumption up to 70% compared to the standard pump with its energy-saving design. For added convenience, the pump is submersible and can be used vertically or horizontally for convenient placement in your pond. The 180-degree rotating adapter allows full range of motion. A pre-filter cage prevents the pump from clogging and disassembles easily for quick cleaning. The included 33' long cord provides easy placement and accessibility. The cord is long and the unit seems s durable. I have faith this will keep my pond crystal clear for many seasons. I also have a couple of fountains that this could work for as well. Very pleased

I have went through 3 pumps in less than 2 years, but this one is working like a champ. I have a pond with a small waterfall in my front yard and finding a quality pump that doesn't cost a fortune has been impossible until now. I've had no issues with it at all and the fact that it has a 33' cord on it really helps. It was really easy to install, I didn't even need to ask my husband to help me. I definitely recommend this pump, I personally will never use any other brand.

We were looking for a water pump that could increase the waterfall flow and be less expensive to operate. In the past we have installed submersible pumps and found that they were a big problem to service. This Alpine Corporation Eco pump can be installed above ground as well and makes servicing much easier. The longer cord and energy efficiency, the remote controller are big plusses as well as the volume of water this pump can produce. I would definitely recommend this product.

I do appreciate the longer cord because I no longer have to use an extension cord. It doesn't get clogged with leaves or debris. I appreciate my new pump!

I like the option that the pump can be installed out of the water.They provide you with adapters for in or out of water installs. This pump allows you to select the angle for discharge. The long cording is nice as it gives you options for installation. The controller is easy operate and having a controller in general is super convenient
