Very small
I had to buy a baffle to put over this and it still didn't help, but the seed kept getting moldy and wet. I would recommend buying one much larger that has more space around the inner plastic tube.

Wire openings are too small for most birds. I will cut a few wires and see if that helps.

Great bird feeder!
I now have two, and they hold up well in the sun in the desert, are functional for the birds, and keep rodents out. Very sturdy and get the job done.

Not squirrel proof at all. They fit their heads in and chewed the holes. Made them much bigger.

The top rest and you can't hardly open it to try and clean it. Once you get it open then you can't get inside there it's too small to get it cleaned. It's wet inside and grows roots from the birdseed, almost impossible to get out

The best we have found
I bought this bird feeder to keep the blackbirds out. It works! Every ones in awhile some gut gets in somehow but not often. I checked out the nice strong top. I had brought to many feeders that at useless hanging threaded tops.

Water will get in!
Sturdy product, but allowed water to seep through leaving the bird seed wet. Ended up having the entire bird feeder filled with worms and bugs. Had to throw out!

Great. Only one problem.
Great feeder. Definitely squirrel proof. Took awhile for the birds to not be afraid of using it. Only problem is the scew thingy. Not easy to screw and unscrew and not secure. Otherwise great.

Not so squirrel proof
Loved it for a bit. Only had it since April and one squirrel started to squeeze in it. Also I don't like that the perches are plastic. In the original description it listed metal and did not list the perches were plastic so he chewed those all off and made a huge hole in the plastic tube. If he was kept out like it originally stated my feeder would be working great for my finches.

Birds did not like it
I think it is just too small for most birds. I had it in different spots and none of my birds liked it. The regular size birds can not fit at all and the smaller sparrows did not have any interest in it.

Best bird feeder. If use right seed mix can attract a bunch of nice small birds. The entry area does not allow for bigger birds squirrels or rats to get to seed. Some seed is dropped on ground so I clean it and take inside at night.
