A: I bought these, and noted your question. The interior diameter of the tops is 33mm or 1 5/16". It was easier to get a good diameter on the tops, as they aren't clear. Hope this helps.

I use this for salt. The square shape makes it easy to grip and hold, it is lightweight, is the right size, and the holes are not too small to let the salt out nor too large that too much comes out I get a nice sprinkle on my food every time I use it. Thumbs up for this product as it is not easy to find a good salt shaker.
