Cheap and not sturdy
This table claims it is sturdy and can hold a lot of weight, but it's made of really cheap materials and is maybe only good for a laptop or cup of coffee, not strong enough to eat on or for homes with pets. The open/close on it is really weird and uneven. The assembly and directions are really bad as well. For now we are using it as a non opening tv console, but it's basically junk and I feel ripped off.

Study, Ease of Use, Easy Assembly - Great Buy
The hinges work really well! Sturdier than than those metal springs. Connecting the hinges to the table top is quite awkward due to the angle but doable. It doesn't take much effort to open and close. It will however slam shut don't guide it all the way down. It comes with rubber stoppers that prevents the tabletop from rubbing against the bottom table. Overall it's sturdy, easy to use, and simple to assemble.

I don't regret buying this table, but I hesitate to recommend it to others
The finished product looks great for the most part, except for the fact that it shows a lot of fingerprint smudges and a couple pieces arrived with small, hard to notice chips. Also we scratched it up a little bit during assembly which felt inevitable because the assembly was somewhat difficult. Also the stickers that label the pieces need to be removed as you assemble, otherwise they will get sealed in between the assembled boards and will be very hard to remove. Took us over 3 hours to assemble, and I wouldn't be surprised if it took most people even longer. Assembly requires an electric drill because you have to drill some holes yourself. Assembly also requires a screwdriver. Overall, aside from the annoying assembly, I'm happy with the finished product and I don't regret buying it. However, due to the difficult assembly and the fingerprint smudges, I don't feel confident recommending it to other people.
