A simple plastic 13oz can. So I jumped to get this sleek stainless steel can. I love it, looks exactly as expected came packaged great and my family is happy with it. I also have a stack of 13ox bags that still fit they. I can use up and won't go to waste. I gave no cons at all. This trash can is too big and wide which is great as it can hold a lot of trash. I have kids and they are small which means you need a safe and secure trash can which can keep your trash away from the kids. This is the perfect size because they can't reach to its mouth. This trash can has a open lid which is a swing lid. You don't need to touch the lid to put it back on place it automatically comes to its own place. This is made with steel and it has a removable trash holder. The style of this can is beautiful.

Whenever the can was almost full, she would dig out all the trash and make a huge mess. This new can fixes that problem with its swing lid and I couldn’t be happier! The old can was also only 13 gallon so this bigger size is nice for less frequent emptying. The 20 gallon trash bags are a little hard to find... I had to order from a retailer online but, that is the only bad thing about this can. I love the way it looks and the swing lid is awesome! So happy with this item, wish I had gotten one years ago!

With a family and kittens always trying to climb the trash can i knew the 17 gallon stainless steel trash can was the way to go. The top has a very strong swivel lid that stays shut yet is easy to push on and throw trash away. The top is weighted so I don't have to worry about it getting knocked over. With 17 gallons it holds all my family's trash! Such a great product and simply beautiful in my kitchen! Alpine is the best!!

I use 13 gallon bags and although theres plenty og extra room in the bottom because it can hold more, it never falls in which is what I always have trouble with with other trash cans. Stainless steel is easy to clean and looks nice in my kitchen. The top comes right off when its time to replace the bag and goes right back on. I love this trashcan.

The top can be a little tricky to navigate when tossing away yucky garbage, since it swings, but you can very easily open the whole top lid to prepare to throw away larger items. The top also cleans very easily!
