I am using it down the center of my dining room table on top of a navy blue cotton table cloth, and it looks beautiful. I am so happy with it!

It has a lining on the back and even though it is made of 100% cotton, it carries some weight to it. I like the dual-tone colors (tan and blue) with a striped pattern throughout. It really stands out on our farm style light wood table and stays in place instead of moving all about like other table runners. I would recommend this table runner for anyone, especially those, like me who prefer a down home feel and look. It is simple, but heavy duty and definitely adds personality to a room.
