Game cards are a scam if you need to return. No refunds.
Bought a game card from this company and accidentally bought for a PC not xbox. All game cards are non returnable or refundable. Not displayed anywhere that this can happen. Customer relations wasn’t any help. Target is beginning to become a scam company. They stole $30 from me.

Extremely easy Purchase and Success
I had just bought it for 30$ despite seeing a few poor reviews, but I immediately got the email with the code that I then redeemed in the microsoft store, and I had gotten the game. Took a few minutes, very happy with my purchase.

If your download code never got sent to your email, you have to go to order details and copy and paste the code it gives you, make sure you redeem at the offical website (at the top area it should say "redeem a copy.") Very happy with the purchase.

Doesn't work
Bought download code from target. Received download code. Entered after given to daughter as Christmas gift. Game could not be downloaded after hours of setting up accounts and passwords and pins etc. a TON of work just to download a basic game. Even worse to no avail. Contacted target still awaiting there response but my assumption is there will be no reimbursement. Beyond that child was very let down. Buy straight from the Minecraft game as I should have. Seems much more straight forward.

Do not buy from Target
Too complicated to redeem. Just buy directly from Microsoft. Makes you sign into Microsoft store, and Xbox, create a child account and then when you redeem the code, even if you’re signed into the child account you created, it redeems it under whichever account you’re signed into on the Microsoft store. And it’s non transferable once redeemed. So now we have Minecraft on my husband’s account but not my son’s account- which obviously my husband doesn’t want our 6 year old playing on his account. So we had to repurchase the game again anyway. Now I’ve got an angry husband and a sad kid on Christmas because I bought an online game code from Target.

Read this-if you are having trouble redeeming
On your PC…YOU MUST CLICK THE ‘redeem’ button in the email. That will launch a Microsoft login, and then the Xbox installer. Do NOT attempt to redeem this code by manually typing it into Minecraft.net . That will not work.

Target Redeem Code does not work!!
Redeem code did not work and Target customer service was unable to help. Xbox customer service sent me back to Target. And Target does not refund digital purchases, so I basically bought something I couldn't use.
