Small yet Powerful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alpine 5600gph pump has been great for me. I first used it to get some water out of my basement and it worked great and fast. Also not as loud as my old pump that croaked on me. Then I put it in my small duck pond. My favorite feature has to be the filter. It keeps all the debri and junk out and is super easy to take out and clean. I really like that the pump is small and easy to move around so I can move it and use it for more than one thing. My next project is to pump the water out of my cistern into water holders for my livestock. This pump is going to make that job so much quicker. The set up was easy and the instructions were clear. The extra long cord was a huge plus as well. All good things with this pump this far and it has helped make jobs so much easier on the farm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband installed Alpine Corporation 3000 GPH Vortex Energy-Saving Pump for Ponds, Fountains, Waterfalls, and Water Circulation in our backyard as I wanted a pond. It was easy to install after reading the directions. The water circulates well & the pump isn’t loud while plugged in. If we decide to go bigger I would definitely go straight to Alpine Corporation for all my pump needs.

Missing Adapter
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to get this pump going this spring as soon as the weather warmed up. My husband and son prepared an area last fall for a water feature off a new patio they built. This pump would work perfectly for that purpose but it's missing a hose adapter so installation has had to wait. As for the pump itself, it is a nice quality pump. Although much of the exterior is plastic, the motor is all metal and the impeller is solid. Between the pre-filter cage and/or the mesh bag that it comes with, there shouldn't be any debris big enough to cause any issues. The only potential issue is if water is allowed to freeze inside the pump. I don't think this will be an issue as we plan to remove the pump in winter months. The 20 foot cord is long enough to control the unit without the need for additional extension cords. I plan on plugging it in to an outdoor smart plug to control from my phone. Hopefully I can get the hose adapter soon.

What I like best is that the pump also has a vortex impeller with a large pre-filter, and can be dissembled without tools, as my wife prefers it that way, indeed.

The water is running with a good flow and is as strong has as pump we had that was more costly. I installed it and it was was fairly simple. I am really happy with the extra long cord, as I didn’t have to use an extension cord.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Alpine Vortex 5600 GPH Pond Pump is AWESOME! We just finished creating our pond with a waterfall and this pump is perfect. It is very easy to use/install and can be used for many different things. I was surprised by how quiet it is when running. The pump can work both in and out of water and has a 20ft cord length. Pump has a vortex impeller and a 5600 gallons per hour flow rate. Comes with a mesh bad to catch debris, suction cups for mounting and adapter for different tube sizes. We have ours submerged in the water using the suction cups, it is not very noticeable at all. So far we have been using it slightly under a month and have not had a single problem. It is very energy efficient and well made. I would definitely recommend this pond pump, it is really nice all around.

We had no problems with it not working or with it getting clogged up. It produces the perfect amount of air/bubbles. We had no problems with fish getting sucked up (which had been a problem in the past). It does seem to be very well made as well as durable. I am quite pleased with how well this works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one very powerful pump and I’m very pleased with the performance and design. A 4700 gallon rated pump, can work in fountains or ponds. There’s other useful things it can do but mine will be right in my small pond. I like that it has a bag that keeps large depri from getting in and it doesn’t effect the performance. Makes it much easier to clean to which by the way is easy to take down and clean the filter. If you are using it next to your porch it’s not a super loud machine. Very happy with the lengthy cord it is 20 foot and also hooks up to bigger hoses but has attachments with it. It’s uses 216 watts of power and is designed to not use as much power. It has ran great so far and I’m very happy with it. It’s small but powerful.
