Q: why belt loops. does it require a. belt?

  • A: We are here to help. The belt loops are a signature detail found on hybrid swim trunks, along with fly and button closure.  The intent is to provide a garment that has multiple end uses (looks like a flat-front short but you can swim in it).  You might swim without a belt, then also wear it like a regular short to dinner, on a golf course, or out and about (perhaps with a belt if you chose).  It is unusual to find this type of stripe/print breakup artwork in this silhouette, as this type of art is most commonly found on boardshorts, which would never have belt loops. Enjoy!

    Too tight and too loose at the same time

    The crotch is obscene, nothing's left to the imagination. To the left or to the right, you'll know. The thigh is super tight too. I'd try one size up, but even though these are only 9 inches, the legs are not tapered so as my thigh narrows to my knee, what was too tight of a leg is now totally unfitted.

    "Swim shorts" with no lining at all

    These look nice on my husband and fit as expected. However, they are labeled as “hybrid swim shorts” but they don’t have a liner of any kind. So really, they are casual shorts that maybe dry quickly. My husband said he’ll wear them as casual shorts, but he’s not likely to wear them to the pool.
