How to measure

  • Chest

    With arms at your sides, measure around the fullest part of your chest & shoulder blades, keeping the tape level & snug.

  • Waist

    Bend slightly to one side. The crease is where your natural waistline is. Measure a comfortable loose, level line around that point.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit well. Now measure along the seam from the crotch to the leg opening.

    Husbandicus loves them

    I’ve always got my eye out for nice linen shirt. My husband loves 2 types of shirts, linen button downs and T-shirts. If it weren’t for these soft linen shirts , he’d wear the same 6 T-shirts from now until the sun burns out. So I get them for him as often as I can. These are fantastic.

    Perfect casual hot weather shirt. Did confirm the linen is pre-shrunk, otherwise the medium would have been too small after washing. The large would have been too big, especially on the shoulders. Delighted with the shirt, will be buying more.

    Linnen fabric sucks!

    I bought this because I have a shirt just like this with the exact same shell print from Lands End a few decades age. It is a medium and cotton, not linden. The one I received was too tight. Both were mediums. I returned the medium for a large. I do not like the b ew linnen fabric as much as the cotton original. The only reason I am keeping it is because my wife loves the shell print and promises to wash and iron it every time I wear it. If it was up to me, I would have just returned it and not reordered the larger size.

    Pattern inside out

    For one of these shirts that I bought, the bright vibrantly colored should-be-outside side of the printed pattern is on the inside (against the skin, where nobody can see it), and the faded should-be-inside side of the pattern is on the outside (where everyone can see it). Because of the buttons, collar, and seams, this shirt is not reversible, so it has to be worn the way it’s sewn, which is with the good side of the printed material on the inside.

    Excellent Pattern Linen Shirt

    [Employee of lands_end_privatelabel] I have two of these, and they're great quality linen shirts. They're flowing, breathable and lightweight and the patterns are great. They do run a little large though, I sit between a small and medium, my normal button down size is a 15.5

    Needs Ironing

    I had forgotten how much I depend on permapress. My two shirts will not be wearable after being washed and dried until I iron them. I have an iron and ironing board and the shirts might get ironed one day, but that is not going to be soon. Most likely, they will be given to the homeless after their single use.

    Excellent quality at a reasonable price.
