The Lego Gabby's Dollhouse set offers a delightful building experience for young fans of the show, featuring colorful pieces and easy-to-follow instructions. While many guests appreciate the creativity and fun it brings, some express concerns about its structural stability, particularly the elevator and roof. Overall, it provides a wonderful opportunity for imaginative play, though a few additional pieces could enhance its durability and character variety.

Great, minus the ears
Instructions are great. My almost 3 year old and 5.5 year old built it together. It does need more of the cat characters though or make it possible to get them reasonably. The ears are a flimsy plastic and fall off if gently knocked or brushed against. Wonder if someone out there has a hack to actually build ears.

Great build. Needs stabilizer bricks on the roof
This was a fun build. My 9yr old daughter completed it in about 2 hours with her 3yr old sister helping. It’s definitely cute and fun to play with. Their complaint is it didn’t come with more of the Gabby Cats. My complaint is it isn’t very sturdy. I had to add connecting bricks up top along the pink cat head roof. The 3 main pieces kept trying to come apart until I stabilized it. They’re really enjoying playing with it and asking for the fairy kitty set next.

Very Good
She just turned 4 and it was the first set she built by herself. She loves the dollhouse and the characters, she liked the building experience. She plays a bit rough so I rearranged two bricks at the top to secure the three parts of the building together and also secured it on a couple of 16x16 plates so she doesn't tip it over.

Perfect for my 4yo!
Lego knocked it out of the park with this one. The instructions are super easy to interpret — my 4yo daughter only needed to call us over a couple of times for help! She took such pride in putting it together 95% by herself and loves playing with it. Wish it had every Gabby's Dollhouse character but love it overall.

Grandson loves it but...
Grandson received this for his fourth birthday, and was able to put it together with minimal assistance. He loves it, but there are some design flaws. Everyone is right: the roof is a fail. Had to pull out pieces from our use-your-imagination Lego to reinforce it. The ears are constantly falling out as well. Also could have used a way to secure the saxophone. The book doesn't really stay in the little shelf, either.

Perfect for my 4.5 yr old granddaughter
This was our first “grownup” Lego build and it did not disappoint! The instructions were so easy to follow! And we are loving playing now that it’s complete!! 10/10 recommend!

Cute for Gabby fans
This was a great beginner build for a 4 y/o who did all the building and just had some help with identifying parts/the fiddly final step of attaching it all together. She does, however, have some complaints: she thinks pieces are missing because the set of characters isn’t complete (DJ, Baby Box and Carlita aren’t included) and also there’s not a ‘curly swirly tail’ for the back of the house.

Flimsy
Instructions are clear and easy. But final product is flimsy. Top part is not very well attached. Lift is wobbly and easly detaches from the rest.

Oh no, Gabby and her Gabby Cats can't get around the house that way! We recommended some rebuilding while making sure that every piece is pushed firmly together and that there isn't a piece or two in the wrong place. If that doesn't help, our experts are happy to take a look at LEGO.build/Service-BV.

So Cute!
My 4 year old niece loved building this set which we picked up after visiting Legoland. The instructions were easy to follow and she loved all the special pieces. We think a few more pieces at the top would be helpful to keep the three main “towers & elevator” together. We’re also struggling to find the location of the QR code on the instructions and packaging so we can register it and get points.

Not very stable after completed
I usually love Lego sets for my kids, but this one kept falling apart after my daughter built it. I had to mount it to a plate and add a support at the top, both should have been part of the design for this price.

You will get to rebuild this so many times you will have the directions memorized. It feels like this set is missing some critical structural pieces that would help this kit stay together. One wrong move and catestrophic failure! The whole house will split and break into pieces. The elevator is a particular weak point with no flat bar pieces across the top to keep the columns together.

That's not the experience we want you to have! If you'd like help troubleshooting your build or if you find that any pieces aren't holding together as they should, please reach out at LEGO.build/Service-BV so we can take a look.

A pinch disappointing
With a Gabby crazy 4.5yo the full Gabby's Dollhouse Lego set was a no brainer Christmas gift for a girl who is moving on from her duplo. The skill level was slightly beyond her, so supervision was necessary. The finished product looks fantastic with all the fun Gabby's Dollhouse feels except for a few missing characters, which would be great if there were additional mini sets to fill in the gaps for the missing characters instead of doubling up on the ones that already come with the house. As per other reviews we feel the complete set needs a base plate and is isn't as strong as other sets we've seen over the years. Additionally, our little girl was frustrated having to turning the house around to play with the rooftop rooms, so we've moved these around a little. She also gets annoyed that all the Gabby characters hair won't stay on, the connection needs to be deeper. Overall we give it a 4 out of 5.

Not the best
We were highly anticipating this set as my daughter loves Gabby’s Dollhouse and she is a big Lego enthusiast so it was a no brainer what to get her for Christmas! Building it was as expected, to her age and skills. However put it all together was really disappointing, it was not very thought through, does not stay together…the minute you want to move it or play with it, it fells apart! It is a shame as its a 4+ you can expect that little ones would like to play with it. The slide very akward, the seesaw fells apart if you want to to put a character on it, the top always comes off because its almost like a piece missing which would hold it together. The plactic ‘ears’ do not stay on, but they dont really ‘slot in’ to start with! In overall it was the worst Lego set we ever got, and very disappointed with it. Not suitable for play, which would be a huge part after building it. After purchasing many big sets previously it feels like a ‘fake’ set which have not thought through. Real shame…

Average set
We purchased this set for our 4yr daughter. She has the non Lego version but gets frustrated with it as the doors don’t close and the figures fall over and when she moves the house all the components fall out. I am a big Lego fan and insisted that the Lego version would fix these problems. The build was very repetitive for a 4 year old. This was ok as she got better at it but then got bored with doing the same thing. The Figures. Why are they not minifigures Gabby’s hair falls off all the time and is hard for her to put back. The clutch power of the figures is also lacking and they also fall over too easily. The figures can’t hold cakes or microphones etc that a normal minifigure could. Why does the lift not go to the top floor. Why have a sliding lift if it instantly falls to the bottom at all floor. I did enjoy helping her build it but think she needs to be older and have more patience with the small figures. Why not minifigures???
