[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Monster 16.4ft Neon Flow Indoor Outdoor. LED Light Strip. These are great lights. The color is so brilliant. I love that they are super flexible and easy to move and adjust how I want them. There are so many settings to put the lights on. Basic adjustments can be made right on the lights with the switch on the power chord. The lights are also Bluetooth capable and connect to an app on your phone. Unfortunately for me it was not very user friendly. I could only get the app to connect to the lights when I brought them right next to my Wi-Fi modem. When in the app I tried using the controls and they never connected to turn on or off. You can use the basic part of the app for on and off and changing the color but it does repeatedly ask to sign up for a subscription. Overall I think this is a great product. I love the lights themselves. I wish there was an actual remote to use as an option rather than the app.

First, it said to download the Monster Smart App. There’s multiple apps that have the same logo. The one that says “Monster Smart Lighting” didn’t work. It had to be the one that said “Monster Smart App.” Then, the directions said the light would blink blue in pairing mode. After several tries with the wrong app and red blinking, we switched apps and it still blinked red. But it paired. It seems work well and the app is easy to use.

It is very durable and can be formed and posed in a multitude of ways. The lights are very bright and serve as the perfect accent to a dark room.

The light strip comes with little clips that screw into the wall and you can arrange the strip however you’d like. You can even spell out words. They also work with the beat of your favorite songs. It’s like the color chases itself. It’s really cool and pretty good size in width and length. It’s the perfect addition to any patio or poolside area. The downfall to this is the setup to change the lights via the app. They are not user-friendly if you are not tech-savvy. They are bright lights with many different functions straight out of the box but to make them custom you will need to figure out how to set these up for the app. Again not an easy task for someone who is not tech-savvy.
