This ball serves it's purpose. I went with the 6 lbs. ball and was surprised what a challenge it provided. I would recomand the 3lbs. for most but this 6 lbs. worked for me being over 6 feet tall and at 225 lbs.Great coaching tool.

Always great working with your products im never not ready to score or play defense.

I bought this product for my son a few weeks ago this ball is amazing he love it its made his fingers wrist and arm much stronger he loves the ball.I would recommend this to any parent or coach.

I now have better control and a stronger throw during my basketball games. My passing is quicker with a regular ball as well, all thanks to training with this weighted ball. I highly recommend it!

The Spalding Premier play is the perfect size for training at the age range that he coaches. It is well constructed and I like that it is designed for indoor and outdoor play.

Ball is a bit more heavy and definitly require some getting used to at first- but after using it and shooting a normal ball- he did the normal ball with such great ease. After continual use and training he should be able to master his shooting technique.

He's 10 but a little on the small size so would just be a little shy of making the ball go in. He has practiced with this weighted ball a little over a week now and we can already see improvement. The ball is building up strenght in his arms wrist and fingertips. With more practice throughout the summer I am sure it will improve his dribbling skills and passing and rebounding skills. I am confident this basketball will have him ready for next season.

Helping my daughters game a lot. It also helps build strength. Which is always needed. There are so many skills and drills to do with this ball as well that helps in warm ups. An in getting good exercise.
