For best results, scrub and dry your potatoes, rub them with a small amount of oil, season as desired, and air fry at 400°F for 30 minutes, depending on size. We do not recommend foil, as it can affect temperature or scratch nonstick coating. Enjoy!

However, the results may differ slightly from a traditional toaster, as the air fryer uses circulating hot air for cooking. For toasting, simply place the bread in the basket and set a low temperature (around 300°F) for a couple of minutes, checking frequently to achieve your desired level of crispness. A: Absolutely! To preheat you air fryer you simply set the temperature at which you are cooking the food or at the temperature that the recipe states. Click “on” or turn the timer dial and let the air fryer heat for 3-5 minutes. We recommend 3 minutes for small air fryers less than 3QTs and for about 5 minutes for larger air fryers. A: The Dash Express Digital Tasti-Crisp Air Fryer is a 2.6QT air fryer. This air fryer would be considered on the smaller end of the spectrum and will usually cook enough food for 2-3 people. Our nonstick does not contain the chemical Perfluorooctanoic acid, more commonly known as PFOA, which has been banned in the U.S. since 2006.   PTFE is safe and meets FDA standards.
