Dash 8qt Tasti Crisp Pro Max Air Fryer

First time trying it and I can confirm that it definitely cools the food crispier than my previous fryer! So many different settings and options ! I’m still learning and trying it out but as of right now, I’m a really big fan!

The size is amazing because I can cook everything in one batch without worrying about space. It heats fast, cooks super evenly, and the food comes out crispy without needing a lot of oil. What I enjoy the most is how easy it is. Just set the time and temperature and that’s it. No noise, no complications, and it’s super easy to clean after. I’ve made chicken, veggies, potatoes, salmon… everything turns out so good.

I have used it for all kinds of frozen fries, chicken tenders, etc. and everything comes out perfect. I roasted a 5-lb. chicken in it today and it came out right on temp, juicy and delicious. So much more convenient than using the oven! The inside is extremely easy to clean and I haven’t had anything stick to it. I am very impressed that the outside doesn’t get super hot so I don’t need to worry about it!

I love the color of this, it's a beautiful white with a shiny coat. The digital touchscreen display is large enough to those who have a hard time seeing. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve been using an oven-style air fryer for quite a few years, so we thought it was worth taking the plunge and getting this more traditional basket-style unit for busy events and parties where it would be handy to have both running at once - not to mention just being able to compare the functionality. So, I’ll explain what I’ve seen about the differences rather than focusing on the things that both do well. First, the “bad” (although not really “bad” so much as “strengths of the oven-style unit”): Having just a single basket, rather than options for different trays, rotisserie, or a rotating basket, does limit the things that this fryer does really well. We’ve put it through it’s paces, trying everything we usually used the old one for, and I have found that I still prefer the old one for some things. Chicken nuggets and reheating pizza are two particular items that are a lot easier to control with the trays, due to being able to position the food at different heights and front-to-back areas relative to the blower fan. But with that said, there are LOTS of foods that this unit is excellent for! I included a video that we just took of cooking up some frozen BBQ wings, along with a photo of how they came out (amazing btw), but we’ve also had great results with almost anything you’d put in a regular oil fryer. Onion rings, french fries, standard fried chicken, and my lady’s roasted sweet potatoes are all getting very regular rotation, and we’ve also started using it for quick-cooking hot dogs and even shrimp! Finally, there’s a couple of important things that this model does BETTER than our old one! First, the extra simplicity of the design means that this unit is RIDICULOUSLY easy to clean. While the oven-style fryer needs careful scrubbing to get its trays and basket clean, this one comes clean with just a quick soak and wipe down! Another thing I REALLY appreciate is how responsive its touchpad is. While my old fryer has had problems with not registering touch input since the day we got it, this one grabs every press without a single miss yet! It’s also very audible when it beeps, without being so sharp that it’s unpleasant. All in all, super easy to use. So in all fairness: Yes, there are a few things that this unit doesn’t specialize in. If you need the rotisserie, dehydrator, and/or toaster-oven functionality, you should consider a box-type model instead. But as a daily-driver, you’ll get tons of mileage out of this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air fryer rocks! I can make my son a hash brown from frozen in 13 minutes. The buttons are easy to navigate and understand and the display is clear. It looks like it'll hold a lot too, but we're just a 2 person household so I haven't filled it to capacity yet. So far I've done popcorn shrimp, fries, hot pockets, hash browns, toaster strudel, and reheated a few things. The interior is very easy to clean too. Usually I just wipe it down. The only thing I don't like is the "shake" alarm. It's kinda loud and I'm usually using it early in the morning before work. It's loud enough to be heard in another room. Halfway through cooking it beeps to alert you that you may need to shake things around to cook evenly. I could do without that function.
