love this balaclava - its lightweight but still offers plenty of protection for skiing.

I have struggled to find something that fits comfortably under both my climbing and snowboard helmet and this does just that. I love that it is not too thick and stays very breathable as I warm up in my activities. Highly recommend.

Found this on the side of the road, didn't touch it for a week. Nobody came to grab it and I happened to be in the market for a balaclava. Divine intervention I say! Pros: Soft, flexible, great coverage, breathable, survives laying outside for an extended amount of time. Cons: Smells like somebody else.

hat has no comparison. scarf has no comparison. collar and freezing ears, cheeks, face, neck, no fun. All reasons I bought this. I can hike and walk in winter and enjoy it because of this item!

I bought this same balaclava for myself but my husband and he liked it so much he wanted one for himself so now we have two that are the same and we are both happy and super warm. Love your products. Have also bought many things for our two little granddaughters and they love them. When it is cold out, they say it's a "turtle fur day!"

I really like Turtle Fur's products and this balaclava did not disappoint. Awesome fabric and fun pattern, super soft and warm, and fits perfectly. It's perfect for cold Ohio winters.

This is for sure warm. But it is better suited for an activity where you don't anticipate talking to people or eating/drinking. Once it's on your head, it fits snugly and keeps you warm, however you can't pull the front down under your chin if you wanted to drink water or eat.

I really love this balaclava! Great colors, high quality material, and it's very comfortable. My only gripe with it is that the part that goes over the mouth is a little inflexible and tight when compared to similar products, which makes it hard to pull down when I want to talk to people during a day of skiing or back up when I'm ready to take a run. I think this is because the stitching ends right where the top/bottom meet instead of overlapping like other balaclava designs. So I would say this is a great product, especially if you dont have to fiddle with the garment when you put it on. But if you're like me and ski with friends and are always pulling your mouthpiece down to talk to people on the lift then back up when you're taking a run, I'd recommend another style (like the shinobi performance balaclava) that allows for more comfortable flexibility when covering/uncovering your face.

Soft fabric makes this the perfect for the face when running in below zero wind chills. I bought the lime green for extra visibility. This replaces a warn out silk balaclava and I like this one better.

I've been looking for a balaclava for skiing. After many failed products, this is the one. Lightweight, well fitting, and most importantly excellent skin coverage. The facial mask hinges nicely to cover or reveal the lower face. I could not be happier with this product.

Thought it would have been a little more plush with moisture wickilimg material on the inside. Also, not very tightly fitted.

I love it and wear it with a hat an neck warmer, just though it would have a slight lining of fleece in like the one my spouse bought for hunting but it did not. I still like it and use it often.
