Worst tv ever
Literally worst tv I’ve ever had. So laggy, starts playing random shows constantly. The remote only works half of the time. Is very difficult to turn on. Just bought it in July and now I can’t get it to turn on at all, I’ve tried everything. Would not recommend to anybody.

Perfect Budget TV
I read the reviews before buying and was a little skeptical but it was in my price range and I needed a TV. I dont have any problems with this TV. We dont need anything super fancy; 1080p is just fine for the kids watching Bluey or for us to watch PBS streaming. I don't have any issue with sound that people described; I watch with the volume from lvls 10-13 (out of 100) and think its just fine for our bedroom. My dad hung the TV and I havent noticed anything wrong. It hung with a standard universal hanger. As for Google OS, I think its faster than my fire stick's that I had been using on my other tvs; esp PBS. It was easy to sign in and its keep my login info etc. I am thinking people who reviewed it badly are probably just old and frustrated and not Digital Natives like us. I've never noticed a dropped connection or wifi issue. I really like the colors-bright, vibrant, deep- I like it better than our older living room TV. I plan on buying another of this same model for my kid. Cant beat the price. ($150)

Very dissapointed!
1 yr and 4 months in the tv did an update and went out. It has not turned back on since. Very disappointed for such a short time frame. Bring back the televisions that lasted 20-30 years.

Garbage TV
It's a garbage Tv. it's so slow and crashes constantly. We bought it because we thought we didn't need anything fancy, but this is so much worse than we thought it would be.

Don't buy
HORRIBLE and such a pain just to get the tv to work, you also have to have a google account to set up the tv. The sound is very bad as well. The tv remote is also way too big.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the unit in July, 2024. Everything has been good until this morning when I got a black screen with sound. Easy call with TCL support with Juls and a simple reset of the tv solved the problem.

This TV is terrible. The sleep timer doesn’t work, it glitches all the time. Half the time the sound doesn’t work and we have to turn it on and off 3 or 4 times before the sound will work. Half of the streaming apps won’t work when it’s in kids mode.

Don't waste your money
This tv is the absolute worst. We own 5 other TCL tvs that are the Roku ones and we love them. This was bought for our son for Christmas and we didn’t realize until Christmas Eve that it was not the Roku version. I wish I could go back in time and return this piece of junk. It randomly closes out of the apps constantly, will not work with the Disney + app, and is just not user friendly compared to our other TVs. We are planning to purchase the TCL Roku tv to replace this which is a frustrating waste of money.
