This TV offers a great price point and decent picture quality, making it suitable for casual viewing and as a secondary TV. Many guests appreciate the ease of setup and the Roku platform, which provides access to various streaming services. However, some guests have reported issues with wobbly legs and lagging performance, particularly with apps. Overall, it serves well for basic needs but may not meet expectations for heavy use.

Hiro with a built in Roku is a plus to have. A 40 inch TV is perfect when you are living with roommates. Doesn't take up a lot of space, and it was affiliate. Quality and quick set up. I give it 6 stars Excellent quality and friendly staff great service

Hi Lauren! Thanks for sharing. Your TV shouldn’t lean once the stand is fully secured, so we want to help you get this fixed. The stands use self‑tapping screws, which can feel tight before they’re fully threaded. They often need firm, straight downward pressure to seat properly. If a screw stops early or goes in at an angle, the stand can feel loose and cause the TV to wobble. You can double‑check the setup with this guide: support.roku.com/article/36588022035607. To fix it, place the TV face‑down on a soft surface, align each stand with the mounting holes, and tighten the screws until they’re snug (but not overly tight). Once fully seated, the stand should feel stable. If it still wobbles after that, we’re happy to help. Just reach out at support.roku.com/contactus. We're here to ensure you enjoy a seamless streaming experience! Elmer, Roku Customer Advocate

Too many problems
So disappointed. I was so excited to purchase this Roku Tv. It buffers often, if I pause the tv for longer than a few minutes it will just skip to a new episode when I press play. It often tells me that whatever app I'm using at the time has an error and can't be used at the moment, I have to shut off the tv and restart it for it to work again only for it to do the same thing again after a couple of episodes. I'd like to return it or exchange it for a new one since it's in the 30 day period since purchasing but I disposed of the box so I don't think I can. Very unfortunate, won't be purchasing again.

Advice for the tv stand
I was struggling with the wobbly leg stands but I saw someone else say to put the screws in all the way before attaching the legs because they did not thread the hole all the way down (thus the wobbly tv stand). After I did that, then attached the screws through the stand like normal, it was pretty sturdy. Just a quality control error on their end!

Not a 40” tv it’s a 35” tv
1 reply from Roku Support team - 2 months ago
Hi Faron, thanks for reaching out! A quick tip about TV sizing: the standard measurement is the diagonal across the screen panel only (top-left to bottom-right), excluding the plastic frame (bezel). For example, although screen size is measured diagonally, a 40-inch TV typically has a width of about 34.9 to 35.5 inches. If you need clarification or further assistance with your new TV, contact us anytime at https://support.roku.com/contactus. We hope this information is helpful. Happy Streaming! Horrible.
Worst tv. Screws disintegrated when you put them in and the little leg stands are so wobbly that the tv leans.

Hi Brianna, thanks for your review! Your TV shouldn’t wobble once the stand is fully secured, so we want to help you fix this. The stands use self-tapping screws, which can feel tight before they’re fully threaded. They often need a bit more straight, downward pressure to seat correctly. If the screws stop early or go in at an angle, the stand can feel loose, causing the TV can lean or wobble. Here’s the full step-by-step guide to double check the setup (copy/paste into your browser): support.roku.com/article/36588022035607. To fix this, place the TV face-down on a soft surface, align each stand with the mounting holes, and tighten each screw until snug (without overtightening). Once fully seated, the stand should feel stable. If it still wobbles after these steps, we’d be happy to take a closer look and help. Please reach out to our team at support.roku.com/contactus to connect with an agent. We hope to get you up and streaming soon! Jessica, Roku Customer Advocate

Has been a great little bedroom TV. The 1080p on the small screen size isn't a huge issue, pretty clear picture. Little to no lag issues.
