[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always wanted a set like this but knew that the wood could warp in the rain and snow. When I saw these I knew they were just what I wanted! Easy to put together and easy to take apart for storage.
Broke in less than 3 weeks!

It was easy to put together with the exception of the stakes and it looked really nice! This set broke in 3 places the 1st month after being blown over by the wind. I assume PVC foam board is not suitable for outdoor weather. I had an inexpensive plywood set that lasted over 16 years.

While the item looks good when you add red bows around their necks, the product itself does not stand up to the Midwest’s winter weather. First day out, the buck pulled out of the ground and snapped the piece that holds the antlers. Added a mending plate. Moved where I had them placed and it pulled out of the ground again and broke an antler. Before the next big storm hits decided to bring it in. The cold has made this brittle and snapped a leg connection on the baby. It’s not like it was being man-handled knowing already it does not tolerate mishandling. Told my husband this is a very expensive template so we can make them out of wood for next year.

Looks great in the lawn with bows added for color. We had trouble getting the pieces together, and one of the doe's legs broke in the process, but maybe we were too rough. Hoping to reuse them next year.

That excitement quickly faded when my husband came inside less than a week after I put them up and said the biggest deer’s leg and antler broke. Not worth the money, especially since the holes for the stakes are oddly placed, likely why the leg broke, causing the deer to fall and break the antler.
