Cold water spin does not spin
My son will play for this for hours!! But the 2 stars are for the blue lower spin thing doesn’t work, can’t spin the cars. My son gets very frustrated when trying to use it. Been like this since we opened it. May be a manufacturing issue.

Fun for the kids, but water is everywhere
My kids love it. It would be nice to have a water tray to catch the water from the track. My towels get so wet when they play with the track. Also it is so hard to get the color shifter cars because they are in high demand. I went to Target and Walmart and they were out in store and online. Sam's club had a whole box set of color shifters but we only wanted a few.

Car gets stuck every time:(
My son was so excited for this set. Everything went together well. Water added and we are off but each car got stuck in the cold water spinner. Like EVERY SINGLE TIME... it was mommy it’s stuck again. I don’t get it everything looks to be right but cars of all sizes get wedge in there until I can force them out. If this could be fixed he would have played with it for hours on end. As is he gets frustrated and moves to other toys quickly

Fun when working
We got this for my sons B-day and he loved it. A bit messy but that is part of the fun. He didn't like how log it takes for most of his cars to come out of the spinner and one of the yellow washer paddles broke a week after he got it.

The gator doesn’t work
I bought this for my son for Christmas and the gator does not work. It doesn’t chomp the car periodically like it’s supposed to. Overall a great concept and my kids love the rest but truly disappointing that after all the setup it doesn’t work properly.

My son plays for hours...
My son loves his Gator Car Wash play set. He can play with it for hours. I love that you can put water in it and wash the cars. He loves to lift the cars out of the water. Another great thing is that you can connect other play sets to this play set. He loves to manually lift the cars up to the carwash areas. I like that it has levers to wind and buttons to push. He's really hyper at times and this play set allows him to wind down and keeps him entertained.

Great Concept Poor Execution
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a gift for my two hot wheels fanatic boys. They had to have it but once received my boys became more and more frustrated as the minutes went on. The cars continually got stuck in the washer/spinner part or whatever it was called and the cars would not move smoothly down the track. Doesnt matter the size of the car, plus I had water everywhere. This is one of the track sets that was played with for about 2 hours and now sits in the garage collecting dust. Every now and again they would pull it out thinking it may work a bit better but nope. Next stop, the trash. This is definitely a track I wish I would have taken back. Not worth the money even if you find a great sale. There are a lot better tracks available.

Spinner does not work
Assembly was easy and the instructions were easy to follow. I like that it did not require tools to assemble or batteries to be played with. But the spinner for the cold water does not work. It sticks when pushed down and won't spin the plate up to send the car out the other side. I inspected the spinner and don't see any reason externally. Seems like it is an internal spring issue. My son loves hot wheels and this was his first big track so huge disappointment

Disappointed
I bought this for my 3 year old. The spinner for drying the car didn't work from day one. The cars get stuck. The design doesn't seem very solid and isn't very effective. Knowing what I know now, I wouldnt have gotten him any of the City sets as they seem poorly designed. I spend more time getting cars out and othe set we have broke within a couple days.

Fun but messy
My son got this for his birthday about a week ago and he loves hot wheels. This is a fun set however I wish there was a track piece to put in place of the spinner for times when we don’t want to mess with water because the spinner does not work correctly without water. I know you can bypass that part but then it bypasses the alligator and he loves that part.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a Christmas gift. The car wash itself is really neat. The car wash is easy to set up and use. Cleanup is even nice because each piece that takes water separates from the car wash easily to dump out. My only gripe is I can no longer find color shifter hot wheels to go with it. If the car isn’t being produced anymore then why bring out a toy that is advertising them. It comes with one simple boring car. I think he would play with more/longer if he had more cars to “wash”.

It broke after one morning.
We got this for our son for Christmas. He waited patiently for us to take the tree down, get past travel and parties and this weekend we put it together. He played with it this am, and now the whirlpool spring is shot. Im very upset for him.

Broke after a few days
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son received this as a Christmas present from his grandparents and after only a few days, it doesn’t work correctly. The whirlpool at the end keeps getting jammed and the button gets stuck in the down position. He loves playing with it but always gets frustrated.

Water play is always loved!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old twins love this toy. With the other hot wheel sets they play with it for awhile and then move on. Having the water and the color changing car is an awesome feature. My kids love to play with the car, get it wet, and then dry it off and repeat. The only downside is there is always a fight over the color changing car.

My 3 1/2 year old has been playing with this for the past 3 hours! He loves it! It gets very wet, but it’s completey worth it! The car that came with it hasn’t changed back to orange, but it doesn’t bother my son. He’s more interested with each station the car goes through!
