This is the second time I have purchased this blanket, and I am disappointed that the manufacturer (Superior) that makes it clearly lowered the quality, likely to increase profits. If you want to increase profits, try to improve your marketing (to reach more people) or enhance your product to attract more customers. Do not cheapen it. This blanket is about 50% as thick as the one I bought through another vendor about two years ago. It’s still good but not as good, and definitely not worth the $58 or so I paid. $40 seems fair. Had the price been lower or even the same, I’d say fine, but to pay more than $20 beyond my original cost ($30-$35), is annoying. Part of the price increase is due to the vendor, Blue Nile Mills, which is charging $10 more than Amazon. My son wanted a particular color that was out of stock there, so I bought it here.

I love this cotton blanket. After reading other reviews, I bought a size up from my bed size because I like to wash it often and in warm water. It did shrink a bit after I initially washed it and it fits perfectly, especially since I have a very thick mattress. The color isn't for everyone, but it goes well with my color scheme. It is soft and comfortable.

Preferred a denim blue blanket, and received a navy blanket?! Color doesn't match other bedding so it's going back. Went to order the correct one, and although it shows the right color on the pic in cart, it list a diff color?! Not sure what's going on w the page. Tried to call and excessive time on hold, so time for bed bath and beyond.

The weight and quality was just what I wanted. It's 100% cotton so I knew it would shrink when washing but I was hoping it didn't shrink as much as it did. It just barely fits my king size bed now after washing.

I ordered this blanket for my guest room as a lighter weight alternative to a regular blanket during the warmer months. I particularly liked the basket-weave pattern as the blanket will be exposed. The pictures indicated that the color would be a nice ivory and not so yellow as many ' ivory' items are. I took the blanket directly from the packaging and put it on the bed. There was no odor at all. The blanket is not as soft as I was expecting. However, I was very pleased with the texture and color until I looked closer. There was a SNAG right out of the package. See photos. I am not at all pleased with the quality, but the overall appearance is nice, so I am giving it a three star rating.
