I already had gold flatware that never got used and was looking for black and gold dinnerware. This set is gorgeous! I love the subtle "dimples" and slightly irregular edges of the plates, and the coffee cups are perfect - not the useless little 6 ouncers that often come with a dinnerware set.

I typically hand wash these types of dinner sets even if they're potentially dish washer safe but my daughter placed them in the dishwasher not once but after several uses. The dinnerware held up very well and the gold rim did not fade or chip. The bowls are large enough for either cereal, soup or a small salad. Very much recommended if you're looking for a fancy set of dinnerware that is made to impress.

The plates are the perfect size and are sturdy but not too bulky. I love the fact that they are dishwasher safe. Definitely high quality and beautiful!

It arrived a little before Easter and I knew I would be using it for our brunch get together. At first I was worried about the gold rubbing off or being nicked while I was washing them, but it did not disappoint. The plates were stylish and beautiful, well made and so lightweight. It was perfect for our midday gathering and I definitely look forward to using them for our everyday meals too!

The plates are round with wavy rims and the dishes have dimples that cover the plates and bowls. They are slightly different from a basic round plate, however I like the uniqueness. I have tested these dishes in the dishwasher and so far they pass the test and washed perfectly. This is a beautiful set for me and I have decided I am going to use them for decoration and special occasions when setting my table.

It includes a service set for four people and comes with 4 nice deep bowls, 4 mugs, 4 dinner plates and 4 salad plates. They're made of porcelain and are great, high quality dishes. They have a nice texture to them and a beautiful gold trim. These are incredibly elegant and would be wonderful to use for a tea service or for special occasions, but they are also nice for everyday use as well. The only downfall is I don't believe you can use them in the microwave. However, they are dishwasher safe and that is the most important feature for me!

My wife loves the gold trim that makes it look elegant enough for a nice dinner, but it's also simple enough to be used as an everyday set. The hammered spots all over the plates and mugs actually reminds me of golf balls and I love golf so I see no problem with this. When food is on the plate it is less noticeable, but I think that's kind of a cool feature. Great set.

This set more than delivers - The pieces are absolutely gorgeous without being gaudy, and they seem to be well-made as well. The look of these is a great mix of a classic gold look with a modern touch as well. Definitely the kind of plate I can see up pulling out when we have a few friends over for a nice dinner date, and (obviously importantly) we didn't have to shell out a bunch of money. I couldn't be happier with these.

Help me please I’m wanna die my bowl edge was cracked and blued in one spot

The only thing my fiance could think of for our wedding registry was a set of Christmas plates, and after searching the internet we decided on this set to compliment some very holiday accent plates. The green with the gold makes for a festive holiday plate without being over the top. We plan to use them Nov-December. They aren't microwave safe so we do need to keep other plates around, but it is worth it. They feel nice and sturdy and look beautiful. The only thing I don't love is how the insides of the mugs are white.
