Backboard is poor quality. Already broken

The backboard frame seems to be well-made, but the actual backboard is not. Before I was done installing it the backboard was already warping and coming unglued from the frame. Yesterday after only a few months of light use part of the backboard shattered and now has a big hole. I'm going to take the plastic backboard off and replace it with some plywood. Disappointing.
