Our Chamoy Botana Sauce is a sweet and tangy blend of fruits and peppers. We used chiles to give it a hint of spice and its vibrant shade of red, dates for just the right amount of sweetness, and limes & hibiscus for tang—just like the chamoy we grew up eating! Chamoy is a big part of Mexican-American food culture. It’s not only undeniably delicious, but it’s extremely versatile and used as a sauce, condiment, and dip. (Some of us even call it “the salsa of snacks!”) In our hometown of Laredo, you can find snack shops at every corner that feature chamoy on everything—from fruit cups, sorbets, and raspas, to pickles, papitas preparadas, and assorted gummy candies. Our familia likes adding it to cocktail rims and nut mixes, too!

    Chamoy

    I have recently started to try new things outside the usual Mexican foods & sauces. I heard about chamoy & my curiosity was piqued, I started looking around for it & I found this brand. The perfect balance of sweet & sour with just enough spice to not make it overwhelming. I have tried the Tajin &: Mega brands but some far this is my favorite.

    The ONLY chamoy you EVER need

    This is my FAVORITE chamoy. It’s sweet and tangy and has the PERFECT amount of spice. I use it in mangonadas, in watermelon granita, and any other fruit I eat. This is an all year MUST HAVE! Vamos!

    This is absolutely delicious. My whole family loves this sauce. We sprinkle tajin and this sauce on our fruit, sooooooo good!!!! We also put the chamoy on our cheese pizza and it’s also really good! Buy it!

    Great sauce to have at home

    I’m so glad my local store carries this after moving back to an area that doesn’t have fruit cart vendors in our neighborhood. The texture is great and isn’t filled with a bunch of nonsense ingredients. I’ll definitely be buying again. The flavor is really well balanced.

    I’m Mexican American, and I live for mangonadas from fruterias. I decided to whip up a homemade mangonada, but of course I needed chamoy. I was looking for something other than the tall yellow bottle brand that is commonly sold. I grabbed this one based on the positive reviews, and I’m so glad I did! I am officially obsessed and will need to stock up. This is *the* perfect flavoring of chamoy that I need in my life. Please don’t ever change it! This made me want to try more products from Siete because clearly I’ve been missing out.
