Loose beads

A slight rub and one of the beads came off…. Which loosened the thread for the rest of the beads on the pillow. Why is one piece of thread connected to all of the beads? Trying to tie off the loose thread causes it to unravel further. Now they’re all over the place. Poor design decision…
