Don't take this one for granite
I waited too long to pick this up. It's my very first Ninjago set. I purchased it at a slight discount but would pay full price for it. It is so pleasant on display. The build experience is simple and cool. Minifigures are peak.

Good but missing pieces!?
We buy a lot of lego sets when they go on sale to gift and build later on... this being one of those times. My son's been building this today and when opening bag 7 he noticed a few missing pieces. Luckily two of the pieces were able to be skipped since they were just aesthetic, and one I had in the box of extra pieces. I told him to pause the build and look forward for other missing pieces... we're up to 7 missing small pieces from bag 7. :( It's been over a year since we had this type of issue, so hopefully Lego still has the missing piece resolution option. He's going to see what he can do with the remainder of the bags to ensure we only have to submit one claim, but this is quite frustrating on a such a large build for what we usually do.

Exceptional set!
I had wanted this set since it was launched and I am glad I got it. I liked how the form of the dragon gradually appeared when building, and as as finished set, it has earned the right to stay out on display as a room ornament. A well designed set. More please!

One of the most beautiful NINJAGO set!
Really one of the prettiest NINJAGO sets. The stone dragon looks amazing, and the waterfall!! I need more sets like these. Also minifigs are really good in this one!

Must purchase for Ninjago fan
Spectacular set! Reminds of Monkie Kid style sets, with a mystical and elemental vibe. The Dragon Stone Shrine makes a perfect display place and does have some great play features for younger fans. Figure selection is solid. A must own for any Ninjago fan or anyone who is looking to add an artistic display piece to their collection.

Beautiful and playable
Exceeded my expectations. Not only beautiful, but has good play features: two little rooms inside, a combat feature, a hidden space that pops open. I have never put together a Lego set quite like this wicked stone dragon. It feels thick and hefty (won’t come apart easily while playing and moving around!), yet elegant. That said, I did not pay full market price for my set, and the full price tag seems steep for such a compact set. I think Lego justifies the price because of the sheer number of pieces that go into the stone dragon.

SET SUCKS
My son tried building this set, but it kept falling apart. And the worst part is, when he finished the set, guess what. It fell apart. AGAIN!!!

A Masterpiece Of Beauty And Design
Absolutely exquisitely realised by all the design that has gone into this masterpiece. Extraordinary in every way. One of my greatest building experiences ever out of a very extensive amount. So many beautiful details. Superb minifigures. Stunning from all angles. Flawless

Gorgeous design with layers of detail.
First and foremost, Ninjago was never on my radar until the release of this set as well as the Cole Titan Mech. I'm a big fan of sets that have a complete displayable presence to them. Ninjago was able to pull that off with the modulars, but those are too big and too pricey. However! This set, strikes that perfect balance of being affordable yet so visually striking that you can just take a moment to admire the detail and design cues that went into the set. I really love this one, and it's positioned on my desk so that I can see it every day. Lego, keep up the good work!

Beautiful Set
This, for me, is a standout set for the Ninjago line. While most Ninjago location sets are primarily playsets, this one doubles as an exquisite display piece. Its a nice, hefty, compact build for the number of pieces you get. The entire shape of it forms a circular pattern which just amazing. The blend of the tree build with the stone shrine build is seemless. While there isn't much of it, there are a few play features thrown in for the younger audience to enjoy. But I really think this was a set with the adults in mind. I hope Lego comes out with more of these kinds of sets for Ninjago.

Great Set, Price is So-So
The build is not only a great display piece, but also a great playset. The minifigures are good, if the inclusion of the Dragons Rising wave one suits being a bit weird. The price on the other hand is a tough pill to swallow. Even with how detailed the build is, it still doesn't live up to the price.

Great design & build
Not a Ninjago fan but when I saw this I was so impressed with the design that I had to buy it. It was a very enjoyable build and looks really good. The mini figures look good as well.

Based set tbh
A bit cramped, not much room to maneuver minifigures in. Instruction manual stressed me out. Pretty design though. My first Lego set :)

Very nice display piece
It was an easy build but very beautiful. I'm surprised it only came with 5 minifigures.

A nifty little set
I only buy sets to display, I don't play with them and although a little pricey for its size it really is a great looking set that's enjoyable to put together. Looks great sitting next to my computer at home.
