I’ve used this brand for years with both my kids, and the training pants specifically for the past 8 months or so. They’re thinner than standard pull-ups, soft and easy for kiddo to pull up and down; we don’t have a problem with leaks; I’ve never noticed a strange smell. I expect to stick with these until we’re FINALLY disposable-free.

Strong odor. It smells like rubber or latex or something and made my face swell. I am allergic to latex but it could be anything. We can't use these.
