Q: How do i remove the shelves? Im having a hard time trying to remove them without feeling like im going to break it.

submitted by Sarii - 3 years ago

  • A: The shelves should slide out quite easily. Please try applying a mild soap to see if it helps the release of the shelves. Please email us at support@ukonic.zendesk if this doesn't work.

  • A: If your shelves are installed right side up, reach to the back of the rail and press up on the sides of the shelf to disengage the clips and pull while maintaining that pressure. Do the opposite if your shelf is upside-down (if you can see the clips holding the shelf to the rail)

Q: This was a gift the recipient has let me know that ice is accumulating in the top compartment around the screws/plate at the back of the top part of the unit. Can I exchange it for another unit now?

submitted by Crk0331 - 3 years ago

  • A: Hi Crk0331, thank you for reaching out about Minecraft Charged Creeper Figural Mini Fridge. We apologize for the issue you are experiencing and have a few suggestions that may help: This kind of MiniFridge used a different kind of cooling tech that does build up ice if left on 24/7. The manual recommends turning it off at the end of the day and turning it back on in the morning, giving it roughly 6-8hrs rest. This will keep it defrosted and operating correctly. If this does not resolve the issue we suggest reaching out to your store for your options. If these steps are not successful, we invite you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

    pricey but cool

this is a cool unique item. personally I think a little over priced but still an item you can't find just anywhere and if you did fine elsewhere scalpers would probably want a small fortune so I guess it's a deal. great job target for having a unique eye for collectable items. let's just hope it stays working

    Creeper Fridge

Love it. Sometimes it gets too cold and will leave ice on the back wall of it, but as long as it stays running there’s no battery issues.
    LJ
    From Ukonic Team team
Thanks for reaching out about your Mini Fridge! I understand that the cooling unit is showing condensation. This is an unfortunate side-effect of peltier coolers. Unlike liquid / gas refrigerant-based refrigerators, they cool a fixed amount of about 30 to 24 degrees below ambient. If that temperature is below the dew-point in your room (the temperature at which water condenses out of the atmosphere into dew), water will collect on the chiller thermocouple and sometimes freeze. If the air is dry in your room, the water may still condense but evaporate before it freezes. Most of the time, this condensation / evaporation happens without you ever knowing it, but sometimes the condensation can build up like you're seeing. It's perfectly normal, if occasionally inconvenient. We recommend a 48-hour on / 2-hour off-for-defrost schedule if it gets bad. Don't forget it should not be on 24/7 - I turn mine off every night : -) Check out the video below for more details on the use, care, and maintenance of our Mini Fridges! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJtRnkcDMaM

    Shipping problems

First off, I haven't even opened the box yet I went outside to pick up my package and immediately all the quarters from the box arebeat up badly. There are numerous holes in the box and there's a big giant rip at the bottom of the box when you buy the it talks about having free care, but then when you login for that free care, it makes you pay, which doesn't make any sense. they also know they made these damages while shipping because they tried covering some of the holes up with tape. I opened the box and there's a big scratch on the front of the creepers face. Like, how am I supposed to give this as a gift? I want my money back.

    DO NOT PURCHASE

DO NOT PURCHASE! Received as a gift, 1 of the doors does not seal properly, freezes, leaks everywhere. Due to being a gift, we were 4 days past the 30 day return window so target is not willing to exchange or do anything, we are just stuck with a $100 item that didn't even last 1 week.

    GIVES OFF TOXIC STENCH! DANGEROUS!

Purchased from Target website for Christmas 2024 for my son. It was kept carefully in the same spot and well cared for. Tonight began giving off a toxic stench like rotten eggs. I walked in my son’s room and could barely breathe. My throat hurt and my eyes were red. It went away awhile after unplugging the machine. I’m extremely worried about my son’s health and the chemicals from this mini fridge. STAY AWAY!
