My son is still learning his letters and numbers. These puzzles are a fun way to work on that together. The quality is great, as it always is with Melissa & Doug.

I was disappointed in the quality for a Melissa and Doug product. The wood is very thin and ours already has pieces of wood chipping off after only several weeks of using it. Also some of the letters don’t fit as they should and frustrate our little one.

Love the colors of the pieces and pegs on each piece! Some pieces fit pretty snug in the cut out, but otherwise great puzzles!

The colorful designs and various shapes have not only kept my child engaged but also helped in developing fine motor skills. The quality of the puzzles is impressive, providing a durable and safe play experience. Highly recommend for early childhood development.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Melissa & Doug make top notch toys and these peg puzzles are not exception. I love the pegs for easy handling by little hands, the bright colors, and the coordinating pictures under each letter. I’m using the alphabet puzzle for teaching my toddler the alphabet and letter sounds. The number puzzle is great too, showing the correct number of items under the number piece. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was gifted this product in exchange for my honest review. I gifted this product to my 18 month old nephew for Christmas and he loved it. Aside from being a great learning tool, the colors and illustrations are bright and eye catching. The only negative side is it would be easy to lose the pieces, but that is with all puzzles. I would buy these for any age appropriate child in my life or recommend them to my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves these puzzles but on some of the pictures she is wanting to say what the pictures look like rather than what they are actually called. For example on the letters puzzle for letters I, J, and Q they have Insect for I, which my daughter says Bug of course, Jump Rope for J which she says Rope and Quail for Q which she says Bird. I think the pictures should be different for kids. This is just my opinion and yes I know everyone has one... would I recommend 🤔 well yes of course I would still recommend this product because it does still help kids learn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these puzzles for free, but my daughter can’t be paid and every reaction is her genuine experience. When we got these, i wasn’t sure whether she would like them or not, being as she’s three and I can buy her an expensive train table, or she can pick up an old computer monitor holder, and prefer the holder. True story, horrifying. Anyhow, when I gave these to her, I was impressed that she seemed to take to them, and she especially enjoyed the little creatures underneath the letters. I wil say some of the letters are harder for a three year old to put into place and she got a little frustrated, but after some time she started to get better at it, so I think it would be good for developing fine motor skills. For me, the wood was well put together and the paint didn’t flake off after a month of play. Like many moms with too much time on their hands, I have a preference for wood toys, but I find that some of the cheaper ones have unacceptable paint flaking, so it’s tough for me to give them all a pass. This one seems to be holding up really well.

If you have kids you know how important it is to not get spinters. I love how vibrant these are. The brand has excellent lasting power. We have some puzzles by Melissa and Doug that have been in the family for years. I do recommend these. It is worth the price for a product that will last.

They are sturdy and not easily broken. My son loves practicing his numbers and ABCs with these puzzles. The pegs make it easy to put the pieces in their place. I definitely recommend.
