Natural Linen Floor Lamp Bronze Finish - StyleCraft: Steel Standing Light for Home Office

I have a small family room with a tight space for a floor lamp next to an easy chair. I wanted a single bulb pole type floor lamp with a heavy base that was sturdy and not easily tipped over or climbed on (cat resistant). I also wanted something more classic looking without weird stuff on it. I wanted one with a reasonable price too. This lamp fit the bill. I worried when the box arrived, because the box was beat up with holes in it, but fortunately there were no punctures in the lamp shade and the metal parts were not bent up. It arrived quickly at the shorter end of expected arrival window. Assembly was simple and straight forward. It was nice to have my husband hold the parts to make it easier to pull the cord out the bottom and screw the parts together, but I could have done it alone. The on off mechanism is a small nob on the light socket you twist to turn on and off. The description says it takes a one way bulb, but there was a sticker on the bulb socket which says it will take a 3-way bulb, max 150 watt. I have a 30-75-100 watt equivalent in it (LED 3-9-13 watt) that works just fine as a 3-way light. This lamp meets my needs and expectations, does not look cheap, is sturdy, both in standing upright and the pieces are not loose and shaky, has a more classic and not gaudy appearance. I'm pleased with the product.

The lamp is exactly as described on the website. The product arrived properly packaged and without blemish or scarring, including the shade. The lamp was purchased to compliment other furnishings on our sunporch. Using the hospitality pineapple as the feature throughout, this lamp selection complemented nicely without the "matchy matchy". Note to potential buyer: the off-white round shade that is paired with the lamp base was too light for my decor. I selected another shade from LP that is more angular with richer color and fabric.
