Don't buy!
After two months of use it began to make a horrible noise that does not let you sleep. I started using it only a few hours until the environment was hot and I turned it off and now since it turns it on it sounds like this. It's a waste of money! For less I bought another brand that being half the size heats faster than this one and does not emit a single noise.

Don't Recommend.
We have had this heater for 3 months. About a month in we started hearing loud mechanical noises when it first turns on. Now as time goes on the mechanical noise gets louder everytime I turn it on and its constantly overheating.

Heater Is Short Circuiting. Challenges with Target for Return and Refund.
Today is February 12, 2026. I purchased this heater, several weeks ago. It was a necessity in reference to the major Winter storm that affected the whole country in January 2026. A few weeks after that time, the heater began to short circuit, tripping the circuitry board, causing the whole rental apartment to shut down on four different occasions. At first, I thought it was related to the weather conditions and the after effects of the storm, with the city trying to restore its infrastructure (electrical) to have things up and running again. Well, the heater tripped the circuitry again (Occasions #3 and #4 within a day of each other.) I called Target customer service for resolution. l had ordered this device and received it by Delivery, since I did not have a means to go get it. Target had told me that I would have to bring the heater back to the store in order to get a refund. I stated to them the challenges I had with transportation and not having the means to get it there. Also, I stated that I needed heat ( heater), because of physical medical conditions, involving asthma/COPD and a muso-skeletal condition that can be quite challenging and painful. Both of these physical medical conditions come under the American Disabilities Act (ACT), so I asked for accommodations to (1) help to get the item back (2) to get a refund (3) and to get another heater. There were No other resolutions given from Target. There were No accommodations met. If I pay for transportation, it can cost me up to 66% of the price of the heater. Or if I pay someone to take it, it may cost up to $20.00 plus some other dynamics of the bill or invoice, which I would have to locate, and/or “plan” with Target, for Target to work with me and the person (I will have to ask the to return the heater) “to get All of the invoice information and to facilitate the refund.” It is causing some anxiety, because the solutions have not moved smoothly. I will call the company that holds the warranty (which I purchased through Target) for this, heater, to see if they have any viable resolutions. I will probably have to make a follow-up review, after I talk with them.

Bright lights disturb sleep
The heat is adequate but the constant bright glowing lights are very terrible. My toddler hasn't been sleeping well, I assumed it was gas or something. Then it was warm and I didn't have to run this and he slept so well. Also, even when muted if you adjust the temp all the lights turn on.

Good for nothing
Auto shuts off within a few seconds of turning it on the LOWEST setting. The “PP” error code appears, meaning overheat protection, but it hasn’t even been on for a full minute on the lowest setting. It’s good for nothing. Will be returning.

Dead after one month.
Dead after one month. Preceded by the loid mechanical noise weeks prior when we first turned it on. The plug and outlet are OK all is up to par on our end. Seems like this brand and model is hit or miss. Don’t bother.

Dangerous Fire Hazard - Do Not Purchase
I had been using this heater consistently for a few years in both the primary bedroom and my daughter’s room. We live in an older home that doesn’t heat well upstairs. Yesterday, I woke up before 6am to a popping noise and a strong smell. The smell was very strong of burnt rubber and when I identified the source, it was coming from beside my bed. I looked down and there were sparks and fire. When I tried to grab the plug out, sparks and electrical flames came out. I was able to grab the plug out after a few tries with other plugs and trying not to burn myself. The plug to the heater unit was melted. I immediately put it outside as there is still snow outside. I am extremely concerned about the safety of this product. I have had this heater in my daughter’s room as a baby/toddler. Do not purchase this heater. It is extremely dangerous.

Keeps tripping circuit
Tripped the circuit when it started on H2 (not even the max power which is H3) on the 2nd day of purchase. Going to return. Will continue using my 4 year old Lasko which is running without issues. This is the 2nd Dreo I am returning in a month. The other kept shutting off randomly.

I really liked it at first, gets your room nice and toasty but after a few weeks it started making this loud noise while it’s on and it makes the heater annoying. Not sure why it’s making that noise and it’s too late to return.
