A: The candle is plastic. I live in Arizona and had mine in the car trunk for several hours in 100° temps and it was fine (whew😅).

A: Put batteries in the bottom l, then you just pull the try me button off and it turns on and off with the switch that’s on the bottom of the lantern.

Disappointed
Ordered 3 of these and 2 did not light up. It seems the wires were too short. My husband was able to solder one but the other could only be soldered for the light to remain on all the time if batteries were in.. The circuit board was zapped. How did whomever packaged this, not see there were issues with these lights? I have a feeling they were returns because not everyone's spouse can solder.

This was a really cute lantern….while it worked. Timer was great because we could set and it would come on automatically. Unfortunately, after one season, it stopped working (placed in sheltered area). Given that it doesn’t last, I can’t in good faith recommend it. Cute idea, though.

While the lantern looks nice, it arrived damaged (both the original & the replacement). The wires were broken therefore the lantern would not turn on. And of course, Target definitely didn’t pack it with anything to protect it in shipping. Complete waste of money!

Item itself is good value for the money but delivery was not a good experience. The box was opened and items were damaged. There was no security in packaging just thrown in a box. Target wants me to return it in order to get my refund. Won't buy things of this nature again! Also won't let me submit photos.

I didn't really look at the sizing information before I bought these. I have a very little house so these look hilariously large inside. Outside they would probably look good. Nice warm glow and subtle candle flickering.
