I tried using this instead of Dove Sensitive soap to save money, but it wasn’t the same. It works as soap, but I have to use more of it to get the same result as Dove. It is fragrance-free, but it leaves a slimy, oily feeling on my skin, like a thin soap film.

Not as good as the old one...

I used to buy the Up and Up Sensitive Skin Moisturizing bar soap (the one that was similar to Dove), then it disappeared from the shelves. Later, I found they had brought it back, but in a different format, in a box, which is fine. The problem is that they reformulated the recipe and it's not as good. It lathers well, even in my hard water, but it's more drying thatn the previous recipe. I had a few bars of the old recipe, so I tried a test with an old bar, and a new one, and the old one is defiitely better. Oh well.

Itchy itchy la la la

This seemed like a win. I’ve become more aware of what products to use to help promote better overall health. This soap has given me a serious contact rash/dermatitis. It’s a great value for the amount given. And the packing is simple and seems environmentally conscious. As a long time dove user, this is the only soap to give me a rash all over my torso.

This soap irritates my skin more than anything I’ve ever used! I have very sensitive skin, and it caused immediate burning that wouldn’t go away even after rinsing for several minutes. The irritation last so long too.

Not fragrance free imo

I don't think this bar soap is fragrance free. I could smell something in it, like a weird mix of florals and plastic. It made my nose itch when I smelled it so I decided to try it as a hand soap before trying it as a body soap. After a couple of days my hands were dry and itchy with little red spots on my knuckles, so I didn't bother using it in the shower. I have sensitive skin and get eczema spots occasionally and this soap triggered that. I also tried this same soap in the body wash version and had the same problem.

Gave me contact dermatitis

After like 2 weeks of using this soap I got an itchy rash that kept spreading until I stopped using the soap. Wild considering this is for sensitive skin which I didn't even consider myself to have. Had to kept prescribed medication for the rash to go away.

Not for sensitive skin and strong even though unscented

I have eczema on fingers and using this soap for “sensitive skin” is not it. It stings my fingers to the point where i have to shower as fast as i can because i cant stand how much it irritates my skin. Also, its not scented but if you use it to shave your legs for example, it irritates your eyes just from how strong it is.
