Q: they have changed the fragrances on this, right? The old packaging and product wasn't as strong and nauseating.When did they do this changeover.

A: I bought this online and was highly disappointed as well. Unilever tells me the old bars were called White Peach & Silk Blossom and this new, horrible imposter is called White Peach & ORANGE Blossom.
submitted bysteelers6 - 9 months agoA: The new smell is horrible and there was NO cause for change. Cheaper ingredients. Smells like a junky Bath and Body works knock off. Disappointed and WILL not buy again. Why would they ‘fix’ what wasn’t broken? Lost a customer.

NO MA'AM
if you have sensitive skin then use this but people with acne prone skin or large pores on the body or people with HEAVY odor should never use this .I have a washcloth and exfoliating gloves and scrubbed hard in the shower.I got out smelling like i just got done working out.reason why it gets a 2 stars is because it is moisturizing but it will not get you clean at all .Try using something else so you don't walk around smelling like sweat.

Just okay.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited and hopeful for trying out the soap. The lather is really nice and the scent complements the bar of soap that has been around for a very long time. However, I noticed the soap separating and layers from when it was sitting in the shower on the wall. I don’t know what led to the soap separating, but it did not hold well together or sit it did not stay in its form.

Soft Good Smelling Skin!
I have used this soap since I was a teen in high school and I just love it! It is my favorite! I have tried others through the years and always come back to this one. My skin is so soft and it smells so good! I would highly recommend ! I would love to try to other scents, but haven't ever seen them in the stores to be able to purchase and try them as well.

Won't disappoint
The packaging in well presented, the pump is great for when bathing/showering as no slipping out of your hands, great value for money. The texture is superb and the scent is long lasting. My skin feels great after using, so would say worth a go and very effective!

New Scent is Terrible!
I used this soap for decades and loved the scent, but they changed it to a one-note, sickeningly sweet synthetic perfume smell that reminds me of a dollar store candle. It is truly awful, and unless Caress pulls a Coca-Cola and releases "Caress Classic," I will never buy this again.

The Caress Shea butter& brown sugar body wash is super amazing with a lovely blend of Shea butter and sugar. It's very good value for money, washes the body well guaranteeing high effectiveness. It's nicely packaged in a bottle. The texture is smooth and lovely with a nice scent, smelling good all day.

Overall Bad Experience: New 2025 Caress Daily Silk "White Peach & Orange Blossom" Formula Bar Soap now feels like it Coats, Smothers skin, leaves a Clammy, Tacky Residue, Clogs Pores, Reduces skin breathability. Previous Caress Daily Silk "Floral Oil Essence" bar soap formula Moisturized dry skin without negative effects. So very disappointed: Changes have created concern, a waste of brand trust, unused product, money, and time.
