Q: Do they hold up if it rains on them before they get picked up

A: Usually yes! I sometimes poke a small hole in base of bag so water doesnt accumulate. I sometimes fold the bag over & lean the bag rather on its side against curb etc

We have tried several different lawn and leaf bags over the years and were met with ripped bags or bags that fell apart at the curb. I was shocked to see Up & Up is now making them. The price was cheaper than the competition and the quality has been phenomenal. They are thicker, larger, and hold up extremely well. We will definitely be stocking up on these!

Great for yard work! These are sturdy and stand up straight. Can fit a ton of yard waste in them. Only complaint would be that they are difficult / awkward to carry once full. Handles or a way to carry would be helpful

I truly underestimated these bags! We had a paver walkway put in, so of course during the summer heat, crab grass grew everywhere they dug. We used a tool to pull the crab grass out; we had 8 buckets worth! I transferred the crab grass, roots and all, to the bags and I was shocked at not just how much it held in terms of volume, but also weight! I followed the directions and filled it to the line, then rolled the top of the bag. I drove 10 mins to the recycling center and the bags didn't come unrolled or rip.
