[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered the women's maximum warmth socks. I have ordered these before. They are very warm with a thick lining. However they are supposed to fit a range of shoe sizes. I wear a 6 and 1/2 or 7 shoe. Previously when I ordered these socks they fit fairly well. This time they are huge. I wonder if I got men's by mistake even though the package said they were women's. I only wear them to bed so I kept them but if I do any walking in them they almost trip me.

The size is perfect for women size 9 and higher. The heel is well padded and last forever. The warmth is like no other. I have tried several types of socks for warmth and these are by far the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Heat Holders original thermal socks. I have many pairs that I wear daily for working as a delivery driver in the snow and cold. I thought these Worxx socks would be more durable for daily work wear. But, sadly, they're very uncomfortable. First, the reinforced toe is overly bulky, causing my toes to get strangely squished in my boots. Second, the reinforced toe is misshapen, with a point in the middle and a ridge going vertical instead of horizontal. So, I'm trying to "break them in" to hopefully become more comfortable. But, socks shouldn't have to be "broken in." Pretty bummed because they're so expensive and a lot of my old pairs need to be replaced. These may never be comfortable enough to wear for work. On the plus side, the overall sock has the super soft warm inside like the originals, and they'll definitely be durable.

These socks will definitely help make the experience more pleasant. Having my toes in a lined sock will make my feet enjoy the time out in the cold much more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Heat Holder socks, but they always tear at the heel, so I thought I would love these socks! But I wear a woman’s size 6, and they are so large that the reinforced heel keeps riding up my ankle, even when I wear another pair of socks underneath. They are too large to make use of the reinforced heel. I wish there was a smaller size. Then they would be great!

They are a gift for someone that is a nature lover and outdoors a lot during the winter in New York.. I'll let you know if she likes them.
