LAVA 14.5" Iridescent Glitter Novelty Table Lamp

Pros: Despite my initial misgivings about the amount of glitter, this is a very pretty lamp once it warms up. If the glitter’s collecting at the top after heating, give it a gentle thump. Cons: The (incredibly bright) lightbulb died about three minutes after being turned on, which was especially disappointing that my other modern Schylling lava lamp’s bulb has been going strong for a decade. As is typical for these lamps, the base and cap appear to be a fairly thin aluminum. My base was a little bent out of the box but the bottle settled into it fine.

Exactly what I wanted. The liquid isnt cloudy and the lamp was protected during shipment. Looks beautiful and I love that movement pretty much starts instantly, compared to wax lava lamps that take hours to move. Recommend!

I bought these because they were on sale. I'm keeping them for Christmas, a long way from now. I live in a senior apartment building. It's disappointing that I had to go to the downstairs mail room for the package. It is a huge box. I would order from target more often if this did not keep occuring.

I was so excited and when I got home and opened the box the base and topper were a completely different color and theme, and it was an unopened box… lame target.. very lame

If you're patient, you won't be disappointed. I use this lamp as a study aid. I turn it on, and spend the time with little motion getting into focus mode. Since the motion works by convection, it takes the globe and liquid inside a bit to warm up and get flowing. A lot of the negative ratings I've seen pertain to the lamp's long time needed to start moving or the short lifespan of the light bulbs...but I wouldn't let that deter me from purchasing this fabulous light as 1) I'm aware that the liquid doesn't flow immediately, and 2) the light bulbs emit a lot of heat, have a short lifespan, and are incredibly cheap to purchase and easy to replace. I got my daughter one for Christmas and it turned on for one second then wouldn’t turn on anymore so I exchanged and the new one did the same thing after one hour!! I was so disappointed. It is cute but didn’t work .

Perfect for my daughter's room! Its calm and gentle and gives enough light while not being overpowering.

Basically just foggy water with a few specks of glitter. Will return.

This lamp exceeded expectations. It's a beautiful shimmer - glitter lamps are few and far between, this one is terrific.

The light is good and easy to put together but the glitter one is not glittery at all. It’s just a few iridescent pieces that float and it’s more water. Also the glass came foggy even after I cleaned it.

The glitter is pretty, but it all keeps floating to the top and you have to shake it to bring it back down. It does this even when it’s on and fully heated.

Love this lamp. It’s more hypnotic than the other lava lamps I have. The colors are great!

Lots of glitter! Very pretty! Begins working quickly compared to traditional lava lamp. Would buy again!

The light went out within the first use just like the other reviews mentioned. There were not many sparkles either. I am returning this item.

I never leave reviews but could not find any pics or vids of this lamp on the internet so I’m here to tell you it’s worth it. Run don’t walk.

Barely had any glitter it was a let down.

I’m giving 3 stars not due to quality, the lamp works well and it’s very beautiful. However, our child uses as a nightlight and it’s VERY bright! It can almost be used as a reading lamp.

when I set it up I was about to take a picture and the light bulb burned out with only being on for 3 minutes
