You can't go wrong with ruby woo. Its just gorgeous. Heads up though that when they say matte they mean it. Its a bit dry but it lasts really well.

I asked the sales person for help choosing a matte lipstick that would not transfer and I wouldn't have to reapply. She assured me that those things would not happen with this brand. That's not true

This color looks incredible on my fair beige skin tone with jet black hair and brown eyes however, the formula felt like I put straight alcohol on my lips after about 25mins! It does last a long time and it's hard to remove the stain from the lips, as it normally is with this hue. Please make this shade in a creamier formula but don't change the color, it's perfect!

The new "satin" lipsticks have no MAC scent. Also, they are not satin in texture. They go on extremely greasy like the old crème formulations.

I had very high hopes for this lipstick however, it failed to perform in all aspects. The color is ok- I wouldn't say it's a true matte, but more of a minimal shiny with a touch of matte. It's not highly pigmented in the least and I've gotten much better quality from drugstore brands than this one. The staying power is terrible. I would not recommend this lipstick if you are a lipstick expert as this could and prob will shatter your opinion of Mac.

I own and use products from over 15 different MAC product lines, and this is by far my favorite. This product elevates my appearance no matter what other makeup products I have on and no matter what outfit I have on. It adds a level of class and maturity to my look like no other makeup product can. I love the Silky Matte formula because of its high pigmentation, blendability, and unmatched shade range. I prefer the Silky Matte line over the Satin finish because of the shade range, and also because if I want to lessen the matte finish, a light coating of clear lip glass applied with a lip brush will usually do the trick. I have this in a variety of shades - Velvet Teddy, Flamingo, Cafe Mocha, Sweet Deal, Kinda Sexy, and Forever Curious. Looking forward to adding more shade to my collection like Get the Hint, You Wouldn't Get it, Mehr, and Twig Twist.
