Use the tips & visuals in this guide to make taking your child's body measurements easy-peasy.

Dont have a fabric tape measure? Use a shoelace or pant leg to measure. Then, lay it flat & use a ruler or tape measure to get a numerical measurement.

How to measure

  • Height

    Have your child stand in front of the fridge.Mark the top of the head with a magnet. Measure a straight line from floor to magnet.

  • Chest

    Have your child make airplane arms. Wrap tape measure around the fullest part of the chest, keeping it level & snug.

  • Waist

    With your child bending to one side, measure the point where the waist flexes naturally. Keep the tape level & comfortably loose.

  • Hip

    Have your child stand like a tall tree with feet together. Measure a level line around the fullest part of the hips & seat.

  • Inseam

    Take a pair of pants that fit your child well. Measure along the seam from crotch to leg opening.

    Arrived smelling like weed

    The quality of the pants were what I expected but my entire order (3 different pairs of all in montion pants) arrived smelling strongly of weed immediately upon being removed from the shipping package and consequently all items had to be washed immediately. Otherwise my 10yr old would be walking around smelling like weed. Hopefully the smell comes out in the wash!

    The material is soft and stretchy. It's perfect for my 8 year old son that is active in sports and play. Be careful with the wash cycles and treat it with care since the material can rip. Unfortunately, there were two pairs that had be discarded due to the holes. I end up purchasing two pairs in other colors. Definitely will purchase more!

    I have bought these in S , M, and now L. A few years ago these pants were great. They wash well, don’t fade , fit great , don’t shrink. They never got stains or holes. The next year I bought M, they seemed to get holes in the knees pretty easily. I still returned the next year to purchase in large for my son. I wish the ankles weren’t fitted. It seems impossible to find soft pants without suction cup ankles for boys. My son hates jeans, has since he was 1 years old. This is all he will wear or under armour. Overall great pants ! Especially for picking kids about the feel.

    We love these comfy pants, so rating a 4. But, they run short in length. I have a tall, slim 10 year old that turns 11 in a few months. I ordered the L 10-12 size. They’re good for slim, but not tall. Just sized up to XL 14-16 to see if they will work!
