I ordered two, his and hers kinda deal. The assembly instructions were a little confusing, just because of the way the screw holes were drilled. But we figured it out, and with the help of an electric drill, assembled the first one. Second one was a different story - there was something wrong with the frame and the middle board didn't line up with the other two. And because this is sold by a separate company, not Target itself, you have to ship it back to get a refund. Replacements were not an option. Not worth the hassle, buy something else.

Very stylish and matches the woodwork in my home perfectly. Assembly was fairly easy although my shelves did not line up so that I could connect them with the back rod. Followed the directions to a “T” and not sure what went wrong, it seems like the middle rack holes may not be centered with the other two shelves. Overall not a problem for me but that why I gave 4 stars. The rack is sturdy and holds 9 pairs of shoes as advertised.
