Fisher Scone Mix, Maple Cinnamon, 14 OZ

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I had using the FS maple and cinnamon scone mix. this is my feedback, I decide to make a coffee cake this time. the aroma and texture of cake were excellent. I found very easy to follow and I appreciate that the additional required ingredients are common pantry. This is a great product to have on hand.

This box mix brings those yummy little scones to your home. I didn’t use the mix to make scones but I made a coffee cake using the instructions on the box. It came out super tasty. Very moist with great maple flavor. Would recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fisher scones are a staple at the WA fair and we always get a half dozen with the raspberry jams This box makes a comparable scone that is not too sweet and has the same texture. The maple and cinnamon flavor comes from small chips in the batter rather than mixed throughout the dough. It results in a very mild flavor. The dough only calls for cream and water so it’s easy to bake. It was a little dry at first but kneading made it work. I baked for 12 min.

The box contains a bag of already prepared mix with cinnamon flavor bits. Just follow the recipe provided and add a few more ingredients to bake up some delicious scones. Light and a little bit crunchy. I tried the coffee cake recipe on the box and it turned out perfect. Crunchy like biscuit exterior and soft cake inside. The streusel topping is the best part. Fisher has many different baking mixes to choose from and they’re all premium products.

On one hand, it really simplifies homemade baking - everything is quick, easy, and hassle-free. The scones turn out fragrant, soft, and very tasty, with a pleasant hint of cinnamon and maple flavor. I’d also like to highlight that it was a great experience baking together with a 3-year-old child: the process is simple and engaging, and the child can happily take part. I also like that you can get creative by adding different fillings (berries, nuts, chocolate), making the result a bit different each time. However, I wasn’t very happy with the ingredients list - I would prefer more natural ingredients and fewer processed components. So, it’s a great option for quick baking and enjoyable family time, but not something I’d use on a daily basis.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fisher makes baking scones way too easy with only having to add two ingredients to the dry mix and 12 minutes in the oven, you’ll have delicious quick scones! I received the Maple Cinnamon Mix and the flavor is spot on, the dry mix contains these little maple crunch balls which gives you a nice texture. These scones are perfect to have with a cup of coffee or tea or just a mid day snack.

The flavor is light on maple, but the texture is so fluffy, springy and perfect. Since my teen boys turned their nose up at scones as too fancy, I also made the coffee cake recipe on the side of the box to test a more relatable recipe. The coffee cake disappeared, with a little fresh butter and a glass of milk. The maple really makes the coffee cake recipe scrumptious. Knowing how long it takes to make scones from scratch, being able to skip a few steps and use this box of mix and a little cream already on hand makes scones more likely in my future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy and yummy to make! The box mix makes 8 decent size scones that are easy to prepare. All I had to do was mix in cream and water to the flour, knead, then back for 10 minutes! The maple cinnamon chips within the scones tasted great and the scones weren’t dry at all! I look forward to purchasing more fisher bake mixes as this was a great introduction to them!

They look just like you would buy from the Fisher food truck at the county fair. The ingredients are easy, an awesome recipe to give a kiddo when getting new experience in the kitchen. It is not overly complicated. Quick easy homemade style treat. It came together easily and tasted just as it smelled. One small downside, the box includes a coffee cake recipe. That looks very similar to the scone recipe which made it a bit confusing at first do you want to pay attention to make sure you follow the right one. I do like one boxes with multiple recipes use a different colors scheme. It would make things clearer (dyslexia). Overall, these scones are quick tasty and exactly what I’ve come to expect from Fisher. Definitely a winner.

It was a quick recipe. The taste was excellent- not too overpoweringly sweet, but definitely had a nice bit of maple and cinnamon in it. The only issue that I had was that they dried out quite quickly- but my kids still finished them off! Would Make again.
