This worked great for our trip to Cali, we brought 3 gallon bags to fill with sand to hold it down verses putting sand in the bag.

We bought this on a whim for a beach day and it was perfect for a couple. It’s easy to set up and pack away in its own bag. The metal material is strong and sturdy for the price. I wouldn’t say it’s for a party or gathering as the winds were 12MPH and it did flop around- there’s no cut out at the top for wind to escape it’s fully enclosed like rain umbrellas that turn inside out when the wind catches it. The shade area is about 5-6 feet and it’s easy to move/ rotate as the sun moves. For a beginner umbrella on a budget this is great. This isn’t sponsored or promoted I bought this with my own money.

Be aware! It is a beach umbrella Which means it has a corkscrew bottom to dig into the sand I had originally purchased for my backyard but will not be able to use as planned because it doesn’t have a regular pole

What a fun addition to our beach stuff! This umbrella is so cute and unique with the fringe detail. The umbrella ships in two pieces, plus a carrying case, and is very easy to assemble on location. I think this is going to be super portable with wither carrying in the case or tossing the whole thing into our beach cart. The base has built in handles and a screw bottom to make it easy to anchor at the beach with the added security of a fillable sand bag to really weight it down. It cannot be used in an umbrella stand as I had originally hoped (that's okay though! It has a specific purpose.) Once opened, the umbrella can be perpendicular to the rod, or adjusted to an angle to protect against the sun as it travels across the sky. It is only two positions though. I should note the umbrella is a cool-toned white with gray/silver undertones (as opposed to a warm white with beige undertones). This isn't problematic, but want to highlight that for anyone who might be purchasing this for a particular aesthetic.
