Please fix the smell here its smells sooooo bad other than that i love it!!

I have spent half the amount of money on drug store/grocery store self tanner and it worked better and stayed on longer. I despise putting this product on because it makes my face pour sweat and have to powder my face just to keep it from dripping off. Ive never experienced anything like this and have no idea how it has such great reviews.

So I bought this serum after I ran out of my beloved St. Tropez Classic face serum that St. Tropez discontinued. I liked this serum because it has clean ingredients and self tanners are known for having some of the most harsh chemicals. But I was a little worried that the "clean" ingredients might impact how well this product works, but boy was I wrong. I've tried virtually all brands of self tanner and I absolutely love how naturally bronze this makes me. I have olive skin so it can be hard to find tanners that blend into my skintone well and don't look obviously fake / orange, but this stuff looked so natural, yet dark, but not too dark where it looks fake lol (if that makes sense). I'm also a very pale / fair olive, so I was torn between getting the medium or the dark. I ended up getting the dark and to be honest, I am pleasantly surprised with how nice the dark looks. I think it's a buildable serum, so if you slather on a couple layers of the "dark" you'll get a very deep color. I just did a thin layer of the serum all over my face and I like the color that created. I was also worried how this product would work for me because I have rosacea and my skin is very sensitive. Praise the Lord this serum went seamless onto my skin with no bumps, no flareups, nothing!! I definitely recommend this serum and I'm so thankful they came out with a clean serum because I was lost when I ran out of my fav old product that was discontinued.

I've used lots of face self tanners this is by far the most natural effortless glow you can get. It is tricky to use right though, you need to apply your serums before then apply this tanner then apply your moisturizer. It is important to not do this product last, you will get the best blend if you apply moisturizer on top I recommend a thick moisturizer (not watery). It is so pretty though I would 100% recommend. My skin is very sensitive and this does not break me out.

I'm an avid self tanner, I love LT & used to just put the body tanner on my face & while it looked good, it was dry. Where has this serum been my whole life? It has an okay smell, nice watery texture, and develops well. BUT does pill a bit though when applying.

Okay take my advice on this one... use a kabuki face brush to apply it. If youre a skincare person like me, this is what I do. I wash my face, toner, serums, then I apply this and let it dry for about 5 mins or if i self ran my body ill let ot dry during that time. And then ill do my moisturizer. I noticed that if I tried to apply it in the morning before my spf, my spf starts to peel away the color, so I only do it at night. If I do it during the day ill wait to apply the spf until after it dries, but i feel like it last even when doing it at night. fades nicely too and i do retinol every other night and the color last me about 2-3 days. I love it. The smell isnt the best but its not horrible. I also love that it wont clog your pores. Alot of face tanners settle in my pores but this one doesnt! please dont ever stop making this! also, alittle goes along way. I got the dark and i feel like it gives a great tan not orange at all. But its also not overwhelmingly dark so i love that too. it just looks natural

I loved the end result of this product. I have fair skin on my face but bc my body is darker I used the dark shade. The end result was very beautiful. Not at all orange. It was very similar to the deep rich tan you get from the body tanner. HOWEVER-that being said…I did find three things worthy of criticism. 1. The smell is so weird and unsettling. It eventually goes away-but it always takes me off guard 2. If you have any type of acne scars, or recently healed acne that left a red mark that may take a few weeks to go away, this product will make those marks ten times more noticeable, even if you apply moisturizer to those spots. I've noticed this tends to be a trend with just the Loving Tan Brand in general, regardless of the shade or specific product. 3. After the initial 8 hours/washing off the product for the first time, the tan really only lasts one or two more face washes, even if you don't use a toner or exfoliate. Beyond those three things-the end shade is very natural and pretty. Every one has different priorities-for the price I'm not sure if it's really worth it, but if you have the budget for it and you have very clear skin, id say go for it:)

I am pretty happy with this product! I purchased the medium shade. Without any self tanner, my skin is very fair (MAC NC15) So the scent of this product is really weird. Its not bad, but its not that great either. However it dissipates pretty quickly after applying. I usually put it on before bed and rinse it off in the AM. I have extremely sensitive skin and a lot of self tan products usually irritate my skin and gives a burning sensation. This product does none of that!!! I apply it with a brush, and wow! No irritation! Also no rubbing off on my pillow case either. Id say if you dont have sensitive skin, you could probably skip this product, as its a little pricey.
