Expensive and Now Broken

I got this band with my watch, and I have had the watch for 6 months or so. At about month four or five I noticed some breakage of the band material around the part where the band slides into place. At the beginning of month 6 I noticed that it was fully tearing away. It hasn’t come fully apart yet, but it will soon. Granted I wear this watch at all times and slightly tight, so maybe it is just my own error, but I would have hoped it lasted longer than 6 months before I have to invest almost $50 in a replacement. The one I really want to try is the braided solo loop because I don’t think it will tear like this one, but it is almost $100 to replace the band. For something so expensive you would hope that you’re given at least a year before you need another expensive replacement. So durability is poor, and replacement too expensive.
