Kichler Lighting Sylvia 2 - Light Sconce in Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially wanted this light for my bedroom but my husband said it's better hardwired, so we installed it in the bathroom as a vanity mirror and I am really happy with it. It has a cool mid-century retro vibe and offers a nice mellow light when you want that "candlelight" glow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a lovely fixture. I was trying my best to stay away from the gold/brass fixtures. As a Gen X consumer I've had my fill of brass and shiny yellow things everyyyywhere. However they are completely different now than they were in the past. The gold has such a deep tone, and the matte surface texture lends a subtlety and elegance that is unmatched. I chose this particular fixture for a one wall in my entryway. I love that I can direct the lighting depending on the mood or art placement that I'd like to highlight at any given time. It has a modern aesthetic but has classic, transitional lines. That's very important to me as I am not keen on replacing my fixtures every 5 years when things go out of style. If you're looking for timeless elegance and fantastic adjustable lighting this fixture is perfect.

Installation was very simple. We installed it directly instead of having to plug it into an outlet. I installed it in my bedroom between two windows.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I could give this Sylvia 2 Light Wall Sconce a ten star rating! It is gorgeous! I expected it to be heavy, but when it came I was pleasantly surprised with it. I waited for my husband to have time to put it up, but while watching him, I know I could have done it myself! It is perfect for putting light on a specific area, I crochet and cross stitch, so this is perfect above my chair. I like the metal shades, so much easier to dust off than regular shades. I am really very happy with this wall sconce and expect to enjoy it for years to come.

Its a great conversation piece thats for sure. Its very well made and 2 lights are better than ine. It was easy to install and you can plug it in the wall which is better for us. I really think it’s made very well and I absolutely recommend!

I like the brushed brass and the black shades together. The fact that you can manually adjust the light positions makes this fixture more functional. Kichler once again has not disappointed. This light has added a great focal point in my bedroom as well as being very functional by providing the perfect amount of light. Great product, highly recommend.

Modern but still VERY stylish! I usually steer clear of lights that have the cone face shape but these best my expectations!
