Somos Fajita Bowl Kit - 26.5oz

The beans smelt so bad I questioned my first bite. I decided to take the bite because I was desperately hungry. I almost threw up, not even kidding. The beans smelled and tasted like chemicals and animal food that went bad. I dumped everything in the garbage immediately and took it out to the outdoor can as soon as possible because the smell is traumatizing. Guess that’s what I get for trying a new quick and easy meal.

Really loved this kit! Lots of flavor! My husband and I tried both this and the taco kit and couldn't decide which rice/beans we liked more :) Could probably serve 3 bowls when adding meat/toppings. Really did take less than 15 minutes in total to put together. Definitely recommend!

Dinner for everyone all in one kit! All you need is the protein and whatever garnishes you add to your fajitas. Highly recommend !

My husband: It’s not my favorite but I could see how someone else would like it. There is a ton of flavor but is lacking freshness- that would be something you could easily add on your own. It’s a lot of spice. I think it could be a little more balanced if the rice was a bit more plain bc there is a lot of flavor already with the fajita sauce and beans. Me: I liked it a lot! First off, the packaging was very appealing. The beans were my favorite part- so tasty and overall this made a nice, super easy meal. The kit also allowed me the ability to customize it by adding sour cream, guacamole, and hot sauce. I have a bunch of leftovers from the meat/pepper and onion portion of the meal but nothing leftover from the rice and beans. I agree with my husband that maybe the rice is an area where the flavor could be reduced because the beans and fajita sauce are already so flavorful.

Overall delicious and quick easy! Thankful for this on a night where I didn’t feel like cooking.

Made this for my family and everyone loved it, even my picky eater kids! Its mild yet flavorful, so easy and everything you need in one box (minus the meat)
