    Didn't help my acne

    I’m 2 months postpartum and my acne has returned with a vengeance. I needed something gentle and have had good results with acne products from this brand before. My skin is super sensitive and while the acne already made my face red and painful, my face burnt when I used this. After each use I would have a very red irritated face. I discontinued use about a week ago and my face is no longer red and irritated like it had been. I loved the consistency of this wash, I wish I didn’t have the reaction I did.

    Works well, smells awful

    The smell alarms me every time I use this. However the smell disappears as soon as I rinse it off & the stubborn acne I was suddenly dealing with has gone away. So worth it but probably won’t buy again.

    Great Acne Cleanser!

    I needed a new cleaner since I was noticing more and more acne. I tried the Cetaphil acne cleanser and noticed a difference. It's been about a month now and I haven't gotten as many pimples as before it's definitely working. My face doesn't feel dry or rough after use it just feels clean!! I'm so glad I tried this out. I recommend!

    Smells terrible

    I usually swear by Cetaphil but this stuff smells AWFUL! Like burnt plastic. I can smell it on my face all day. The consistency is also very strange, I had to double check to make sure I wasn’t using lotion lol. Definitely don’t recommend and will be returning.

    Smells Terrible

    This smells HORRID. Upon the first use it was extremely strange and strong odor. I checked the expiration date and looked inside the bottle to see if there was any mold but I didn’t notice anything. The smell lingers on my face after I wash it. I’ve never used Cetaphil before and was going from my usual CeraVe because of how expensive it is. I guess this is what happens when you go for the “cheaper” option. I googled to see if others had this same experience and some spoke of a formula change as the potential cause but I see the majority of people not having this issue. I don’t know who decided this was “fragrance free” but it’s fragrance FULL. I noticed slight irritation in my eyes but figured I just got some in my eyes by accident. It seems to work okay for my acne but I don’t know if I will be able to finish this bottle.

    Horrible smell!

    I have always used Cetaphil products. I bought this one cause my usual was out of stock. And this stuff smells horrible!!! It's like rotten glue, which is awful for face wash. Please do something about the smell!

    I love this product for acne. All the others I've tried dried out my skin & this doesn't. I use it twice a day & the oil free moisturizer & I saw my skin clearing within a day, please never stopped making this, I loveeeeeee it!!!!

    Added to My Daily Skincare Routine

    I really like this cleanser. I have added it to my nighttime routine. The product does exactly what the names says: gently clears your pores to stop and prevent acne without being too harsh like other cleansers on the market. It goes on like a smooth cream as long as you dampen your face before applying. My skin felt a bit tight at first but in a good way. It is a wonderful nighttime cleanser that removes any excess makeup residue and preps my skin for my evening skincare products.

    If you are looking for a clean facial cleanser for occasional breakouts this one might be for you. If you are acne prone and get breakouts often, I would suggest skipping this one as it doesn't do much for acne prone skin. It is very gentle and the pump is wonderful, but not for those looking to treat acne.

    Great cleanser everything they claim but 0 lather

    Bought this product myself not a sponsored or free product review. My (15yo) daughter & I (41yo) both use this, it’s a cream cleanser. In the beginning I was a little skeptical bc I usually like cleansers with a bit of lather. But was pleasantly surprised. I noticed a few reviews saying it had a smell, we both didn’t notice a smell. It didn’t dry out either of our faces, skin wasn’t oily, helped clear existing acne & didn’t have new breakouts. We both have sensitive, oily T zone, acne prone skin, my daughter has had eczema issues on her face this product didn’t give her any dry irritated skin. Used product on face, chest & upper back. I wish it lathered just a little. It does everything they claim with 1 exception no lather/foam. Which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loved it. My whole family uses this and we haven’t had any skin concerns or breakouts since. Packaging is generous, but due to the harder plastic bottle it is hard to get the last bits when you’re nearing the end.

    I usually love Cetaphil products, but this one wasn’t it for me. It’s a cream cleanser, but it’s really watery and I have to use a lot of it. I used this for about three weeks and my breakouts actually got worse.
