I bought all three sizes of the "heavy base" line of glasses. I could not be more pleased!! A very well designed, clean, sophisticated, elegant... the adjectives could go on. About thirty years ago I purchased another Libbey line of glasses that I loved. (Imagine a "pinched" cylinder that flared out at the top and bottom.) I got compliments on the glasses and even saw them in ice tea commercials and on TV shows. But they discontinued the line and it seems it has taken Libbey 30+ years to hit the right note again. This design is so clean and good, that I can see some designer thinking it needs to be "fixed" and jazzed up. Keep your hands off and keep making the glasses.

These glasses are the perfect size and heft for making cocktails. Very stylish. Keeping six for myself and the rest will be gifts.
