    A but strong

    My first sip was a bit overpowering. I usually buy medium roast and enjoy it but this seemed more on the dark side. I did like it better after my taste buds adjusted.

    I've been a Philz fan ever since I was working several jobs SOMA in SF CA. This isn't anything like what you get at the coffee shop. Too nutty, not enough coffee.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With all the hype around Philz Coffee, I was excited to try this pod. When the coffee was brewing, the aroma was so nice. I also prefer medium roasts so that was a bonus! However, I wasn’t a fan of the taste. I thought the hazelnut flavor was minimal and it tasted bland. I had to add foam and syrup to make it taste good. I will say it is convenient for a quick cup of coffee. There just wasn’t anything special about this brand or flavor of coffee to me.
