Q: Can't hear fan or anything at all and it's taking over 40 plus minutes to air fry n or bake . says takes 8-15 min( depending on what it is) in a regular oven. No fan noise at all either

    So far I'm liking it, but I'm still new at it.

    I like the size very convenient for me small, but still a lot of space to cook my food. Google will be your friend when it comes to this air fryer. The instructions are not totally clear on the preheating part! This particular air fryer goes on to preheat automatically. Make sure you check how to calculate the time! Preheating and cooking time somehow come together, but just really do research! It's a bit of a learning curve, but I got it for 39 bucks so I'm not too worried!

    Short Life, Doesn't Last Long

    Last a year and a half. It cut off while I was air drying tater tots. Won’t come back on, tried other outlets to make sure it wasn’t our outlet. This brand seems to only have a lifespan of 1 1/2-2 years, which is a bummer. It worked like a charm when it was working though! Not sure if we’ll get the same brand or something different.

    You get what you pay for. It’s a good air fryer for the price. It cooks well and quickly but it’s not very durable. About a year in it would periodically shut off and then start cooking again like normal. Today I just broke the handle off of it but since it’s all I can afford atm I will likely be buying it again. All in all, it lasted me about a year in a half which is pretty solid for a $35 air fryer.

    Bought this 2 years ago for $25 and it’s still great. I did have some trouble with it not turning on but I found that if you have the tray out, then power it on, and then push the tray on it works. It is a bit finicky. When it wouldn’t turn on at all I called Gourmia C/S and they were not helpful. But I can always get it to turn on now and it works great. I love the small size and use it all the time.

    Fire Hazard

    I purchased this air-fryer from another store, but please listen to the bad reviews. I thought I would upgrade to a larger air-fryer, because my Bella (that I've had for YEARS) is on the smaller side. This was NOT an upgrade. A fire started inside once, thank goodness I was nearby... & it puts out a LOT of heat from the vents... I just never felt safe using it. It's actually getting tossed because I don't feel comfortable even giving it away for free. Oh, and the non-stick coating is garbage! It's NOT non-stick... I had to pull out a Scrub Mommy and it still could not get all of the residue off... Meanwhile, with my smaller air-fryer, it washes clean with no issues. My cute little Bella air-fryer is back where it used to be and that's what I am sticking with. I would not buy a Gourmia air-fryer again, no matter the model or year.

    Love it !

    I bought this air fryer about a year ago. It took some trial and error to cook foods correctly. Now I do not know how I could live without one. French fries are awesome. Pork chops are so moist. With a paper liner I did sunny side up eggs. And I also did a baked potato that was almost the best I have ever eaten. Clean up is so easy.
